Can you make a video about inserting an external effect, compressor, external effects etc? I can do external effect with x32 using auxiliaries as returns. They work amazing. Some of us still like to external stuff. Thanks Drew

Followed instructions to letter on Wing Rack. Reverb is on the insert, but can't hear it on the mic. I should mention that the volume slider doesn't affect the volume either, so I'm definitely doing something wrong.

Am I incorrect in that once you select a particular effect for say a vocal mic, that you can no longer select that same effect for additional vocal microphones? Would it be best to set up an affect on a bus that could be applied to multiple sources?

No, my understanding is you can insert the same effect on any number of channels, and they are all independent.

Hi, I'm searching though all your video's and other video's but I can not find what i'm looking for. How do I set up an FX to send to a bus for IEM, in that way, that the artist, can set the amount of FX on his/her bus, and it does not depend on what i do for FOH. On the x32 I set channel to bus at unity, the FX bus at unity, and use the returns for FOH, and to send it to the busses. that way i can give FOH full reveb, without that was effecting the iem mix. I'm struggeling how to to that on the wing. Everything I do, it seems it is still depending on the FX bus fader. Should I feed the aux with the fx bus ? so that's my return ? Will that act te way I want ? ( It popped just up .. :) )

Thanks Drew. Any Idea in why the half of the console is black, it has no LEDs. Is it a F/W issues???

Oh man! That sounds like there might be a hardware issue. Have you tried loading a different scene or initializing the console?

@@DrewBrashler Hello Drew I found the issue, it was the internal battery causing the problem, the clock gave it away, it had a different time..😀

Question for anyone in the comments: what’s the optimal input gain for microphones In lice scenarios? During the church service, I was sending signal to my DAW from the Wing via usb output. The signal was arriving very low. Live volume was adequate & loud. Maybe I need to reduce the speaker volume.

Definitely want it to be “just before the red” it’s tough to say a specific number because consoles meter different. You want your meter to be in the yellow.

I'm strugling with this problem as well. From my experience, the source chanel should be around -12 on the indicator. Then, in the USB, it will have decent level.

Make a seperate amp out and give it in channel out, then control the channel out like a monitor you send what you need... So the sub reacts only to the mix which you have sent
