Sounds great!! I started watching your videos where you go around fixing churches sound. I’m a drummer at my church and we don’t really have a sound man, just some volunteers that help with levels during service. I’ve become the guy in charge of sound, I guess lol. I really enjoy your videos. Your mixes sounds so good. And this band sounds incredible! Nice work!

This sounds really good even despite the bass guitar and kick drum not being the best source material. The guitar player has his stuff dialed in completely and gear i'd lean towards for sure. Impressive results for such a quick little setup/project. That Console is wild

Man, thanks so much for uploading this. Similar to how I setup for live & studio. We are currently on 3-M32s, X32Rack, & M32C. Definitely will be updating to the Wing platform in the near future. Compact & Full Wing for live. For my home studio and live keys & backing track rig, I use MR18. Might consider a Wing Rack to upgrade. Behringer has done well!😊

3:43 ahhhhhh you mean the part where we pull out the strip tape and sharpie !!!, no, but for real when I can tell on this console is that assigning channels is already a lot easier once in my opinion will eliminate the need of strip tape , but you know how them festivals get multi bands in one day it gets hard , but for recording it fully makes sense , I’ll make sure to go watch your other video of this consol in action in a live setting at dingbats next !

If you don't wanna use sd cards, can you use the usb port on the back for multitracking, or do you have to install a card. I see it comes with a dante card already installed. Few people have dante rigs, everybody has a usb port. Cheers, Chris.

Excellent video mate 👋, and it seems that this console is exactly what I need for my home studio purpose (and even much more) 😉👍. We are band of three and usually record instrumental part of a song in one take with lot of guitar and vocal overdubbing. Therefore, my question to you is what outputs you were using during recording session to enable the monitoring for each band member (due to the fact that as I understood, compact WING has only two headphone OUTS ?!) Looking forward to see new videos on a Behringer WING range 🙂...

Great Video. I recorded drums following your steps, but after Recording on the SD cards, I cannot hear playback through my headphones. I have no speakers connected or no monitors. How do I hear playback through my headphones?

You have to set up the console to allow playback with the channels or just drag the file on the sd card into a DAW

The SD card can record processed channels? I thought you had to do all sort or routings with the P16 option for it to do that. USB records process channels also?
@chrishammillaudio2 ай бұрын
The SD card records only the pre amp. No processing. I’m sure there’s a way to print the EQ and effects to the SD card, but why would you record multitrack if you can’t mix it later after tracking? I always want to record raw and have the chance to mix later. The usb drive can record the main L/R and that includes all of the processing you do in your signal flow.

May I ask how you played and mixed the recorded tracks through the wing after the band stopped playing? Can it only be done with the SD card?
@thomas_ger40982 ай бұрын
You can setup an „alternative“ routing where you can route the tracks you recorded on the sd card to the channels. So usually you would route trk 1 to channel 1, trk 2 to channel 2 and so on. the you can switch with one button the whole console to the alternative routing - means all channels now receive their signal from the sd card. The recording writes the signals to the tracks on the sd card directly after the mic preamp. So you get unprocessed signals in the recording, When you play it back (and have done the routing into the channels) you get the unprocessed signals into your channels and can process them - so as if the band would play live. This incredibly useful. I use it a lot for pre-soundchecks at the venue before the band has arrived.
@chrishammillaudio2 ай бұрын
You can set it up to be a daw controller But in this instance it was straight through the sd card.
