Sliders and eq does not map to software, they are analog. You can use it to multitrack, one track at a time, can't record each channel to separate tracks.

@bigloco94 Yes, you could use it as a mic interface, but you can only record one track at a time. If you want to record a band, and have it all separate tracks, drums, guitar, bass separate, it won't work, the interface is just one in and out. If you want to lay one track at a time, you can do it.

dunno how old your question is but i had a similar problem and when i opened up the mixer the plug that connects the power supply to the board had come loose. I put it back in and all was fine. You need to completely open the mixer to do that though

pain in the ass to get going but once i did it worked fine. I recommend using monster aux CABLES with this thing to filter out the white noise caused by the cheap aux cables.

I would record the vocal, and apply effects in cubase, you will get better quality effects in cubase. And you can undo them if you don't like it.

I would try lifting the grounds on pc and mixer, see if it works. Basically,3 prong to 2 prong power adapter converter from dollar store. Also try a hi-z to low-z impedance matcher. If that don't work, you may need to buy an audio interface.

Nice.. but I have one question.. Why didn't the peak-meter LED's work on this video? It doesn't show the signal output level at all..

It's ok..with a decent mic you could get decent results...it's not a Neve or SSL.

great home studio you got there man... How to plug it to a pc ? Can u use it as a live controller in a music soft.as FL.Studio or Pro Tools...?

@metalist76 I havent tried to use it as an interface yet. I dont know what you are trying to do installing it in the "win" folder. Put the cd rom in, plug in the usb cable, windows should see it and ask for the driver..when it does direct it to the cd rom drive.

Lol he didnt kno how to get the meters to work at the start lol.... Crazy , tell the ctrl to listen to mains or solo the channel your on ...and in most cases your speakers should be connected to ctrl room outs

Not really, you can use headphones.

There is a button by the meter that allows you select what you are monitoring, it just need to be set to main mix, it was probably set to pfl(pre fader listen).

i had the same problem when i purchased a composer pro-xl behringer mixer i bought it at guitarcenter and plugged it in and didnt work.but i wiggle the cable a bit and tied the cable and it worked so i went to get it the cable replaced si it was just the cable.and i know people are already asking you.but can i use this as a mic interface to my computer? cuz im thinking of getting this.lemme know asap bro

Most of the equipement in my studio is Behringer. And they are very intelligent designed, reliable, have good housing. And they are very cheap thanks to the China manufacturing. That's the reason why you get so much for the money. But problem of this company is very poor output quality controll. And I have experrienced this with faulty Behringer DX 1000 mixer and bass guitar compressor/limiter pedal,...

I have problem, If I plug in microfon with effects, signal with effects going ONLY to MAIN OUTPUTS SUB 1-2 OUTPUTS and CONTROL ROOM OUT I have only Microphone signal No effects, Whay? I need microfon with effects to All outputs, exactly same signal on stage monitors and same signal on front speakers, please help

Not sure if its possible. You have the 2 orange knobs by the effects at zero? At the right of the 2 knobs there is a button, indicating up is main mix, down is sub 1-2. Pick main mix. Then by the headphone knob, the left of the headphone knob, pick main mix as source, that will give you effects on Main mix and Control room, unfortunately they won't be on sub mix, i think. Good luck!

I got a x1622usb and there's something wrong with the power thing. When i turn it on, the little mini engine display screen lights doesn't turn on. it blinks for a sec and then off. Anyone knows how to fix it ? :(
