Thank you Drew! Yesterday I updated our board from 3.12 to 4.09 right after (soapbox) our service. I referenced this video to make sure I backed up every section. It updated perfectly! I had a moment of terror when everything was blank... then I loaded a scene, whew!

After upgrading my beringer x32 compact firmware from 3 to v4 it reset everything like I just go a new one but then I was unable to restore all my back up files 😢 what can I do?

Hi Drew. If you are using an S32 stagebox along with the Behringer x32 console, do you need to do something with the stagebox too when updating the firmware?

I notice the Firmware Version 4.13 is now available on the behringer site. It it worth updating the x32 mixer to this version, or is version 4.09 sufficient?

On the Welcome to new firmware page after the update, it says "Updating the Firmware can cause data loss. Make sure to restore your Console Backup made prior to the update." Does this mean we should go ahead and restore to the backup it made during the update process, or only do that if something is wrong? All my scenes appear in tact after the update so I don't want to risk messing it up with an unnecessary restore, but also just would like to know best practice if we should do the restore anyway. Thanks!

I need help. I have the edit app on pc and today we went to load a scene but our digital mixer on pc where we load was black. How can it be fixed??

Hi Drew . Please inspect this latest firmware with Waves card . I have received noise coming from the ch. Unfortunately old 4.02 version is only stable for Waves . If you have availability to impact on BEHRINGER/MIDAS please let them know .

hi Drew. Why are my channels 1 & 2 share their GAIN even they are not linked. I mean, if I turn the GAIN for channel 1, whatever value that is, then I check the channel 2, it's just the same. but they are not linked.

Hi Drew. I have a challenge with my ether con cable issue of not reading on x32 producer.sometimes it used to do it and went on turning off and on the stage box and it reads ,there times it fails yet when i test the ether con cable ,test fine .What could be the problem and the solution?

Drew.....after updating firmware I can't multitrack record anymore to Studio One on a MacBook Air iOS Ventura. Wondering if there is something simple I am missing?? Been recording for years before updating, but recently switched from a PC windows 10 to the MacBook. Routing and all templates were copied over. Tried a new session and 1 to 1 routing just to test and still no dice.

Some more context.....I CAN run a virtual soundcheck with all the same routing. So audio goes in, but no audio comes out with regard to the card.

I was just attempting to update our x32 producer yesterday and was having issues. The drive is formatted Fat32 but the x32 does not recognize it. I've tried both ways to update and nothing. The light for the USB doesn't even light up. The drive is recognized fine in any computer I put it into. It's it possible the USB on the board is broken? I don't think this thing had ever been updated.

You have to format the usb thumb drive MBR fat32, not GUID. We updated from V4.02 and the mixer would not recognize the drive formatted with GUID fat32

Hey Drew I have a question. Is there anyway to contact behringer to ask/suggest a future firmware update? What I would REALLY love to see (if it's possible) a track volume control but it would be done thru one of the turn knobs below the lcd screen. This would really be handy for when we play tracks for our singers at church via a thumb drive. All the other options are already there such as play, stop, rewind, fast forward, record........ It would be nice to have one knob to slowly fade out the music if the track runs a little too long (which sometimes happens)

Hey you know there is a volume slider for this near the aux volume sliders lol, also you could assign the volume to one of the assign knobs on the right
