Josh...Your assistance in learning to use this console is extremely valuable. Your videos along with several others on KZbin have been God Sends. I appreciate your knowledge and time.

Thanks for the tips. And to idave8, dial it back a bit. He's just trying to help, and at a Church, 'Dude'. If you don't like his style, go somewhere else. Josh you're camera is a little shaky, but that's ok. you're info is very helpful. We are all just trying to learn!

Hey Josh, so in discussion with changing the scribble script to show black for a channel not in use, wouldn't it be better to turn off the channel? That way a blank screen tells the user "hey, when you're trouble shooting I'm one less variable to worry about" instead of "hey i'm a blank screen but i could also be the feedback culprit pretending to be a dead channel." It seems to me that would be preferred because to assign that channel to a particular input is the same menu place as assigning it as off. What are your thoughts?

only the lcd is blank, not the channel meters or the mutes. anyway an unused channel would be muted so feedback or noise if it was a mic wouldnt be an issue. Its always good practice to only have channels in use un muted.

The reason that the Pre lights don't come on when only the buses are selected is that one might have one or more channels set to post for some reason. I suppose they could program it to look for this and act accordingly, but..... (and who knows - they might incorporate this in later firmware revisions).

Hi great videos, btw would you have the presets you use for live band, compressor , gates, etc.? If you could make them available it would be a great help for churches with limited experienced audio techs.

dude, your (lack of) video technique is enough to give anyone a seizure !! You need to learn how to "focus" that cam or get a better one as the video IS important. Also you need a tripod stand cos I feel pretty seasick right now. Lastly, if you screw up & get lost then edit the section out as no one wants to see/hear you flapping around not knowing what your doing its so Unprofessional !!
