Only thing I disagree with from the intro is that Grace closed her eyes because she knew Harry wouldn’t let anyone else do it. No matter what, it was always going to be Harry staying.

I saw this scene for the first time when I was in my 20s. I just saw it again today, Im 46 and I can completely understand Harrys decision. A hundred times again I would do exactly the same thing. You get to a point in life where you completely understand it was never about you, it was about the ones you love. If you truly love a daughter I think any man can understand you will do anything to protect her, including passing the torch to another man who you respect and will protect her as you did. It was never a choice, you know what you have to do.

Perhaps. However, earlier in the movie he made a promise to his daughter that he would come home. He also earlier in the film had problems with A.J thinking he won't be a good husband for his daughter. When A.J takes on the responsibility of killing himself to save the world and doesn't protest then his last wishes are that he wants her father to tell her that he will always think of her it seems to prove that he really does love her so Harry decides to break his promise to his daughter because he realized that A.J will be a good husband to his daughter.

Harry already had some respect for AJ at the beginning of the movie. Everyone said AJ was the best man on the crew and that the only one who knows the rig besides Harry is AJ. Once AJ accepted his fate without hesitation after drawing the short straw, Harry knew AJ was good enough for Grace.

Thanks for putting up the quick tutorial. It really helped me, but in reverse! I was trying to send a separate mix out for stream on bus 5 and 6, and kept hearing it through the mains. My inexperienced self didn't realize that bus 5 and 6 were somehow selected to go to the main bus. X32 is my first real digital board, so on most of the analog equipment I have used over the years, a routing fail like this is almost impossible. But not on the super flexible x32 apparently

Nice video. Thanks. I have a scene I want to copy and paste. I have Bob's worship team on scene 00 and I want to copy all the settings to scene 01. I already have Andrea's team on scene 01 but it has major distortion issues so I just want to copy the whole scene ( all the EQ and gain etc. for every channel, everything) and then I'll go in and rename them for Andrea's team members. Can I do that? Thanks

I would suggest rather than doing this individually on each microphone, that this should be done on the monitor mix instead, termed ringing out the monitors. Would be better to have a low cut for each vocal mic around 100 Hertz, put a high shelf of two or three DB 5K and above and then any other adjustments let that be done on the monitor mix for each monitor that you use.

Bare in mind only adjacent channels can be linked in order, 1&2 can but 2&3 can't.

Please note that “Sends on Fader“ does NOT work for DCA groups! When pressing the DCA button, “Sends on Fader“ is automatically deactivated, what also can be seen in the video (and is the reason why he needs to re-engage it in 1:36).
