I like the way you set up the fx to only come on when the music is on How would iIdo that with 3 mics. My group has 3 singers and a music source Can you help?

Thanks for the DUCKING example...this would be perfect for use on an online radio station seeing that there are no physical faders to control the music channels.

How do you SIMPLY send the XR18's FX and EQ to a DAW along WITH the dry signal for each track? Our XR18's mix sounds perfect LIVE, and that's exactly what I want the computer to record! I DON'T want to add FX and EX to the tracks in the DAW later!

Change signal tap in your USB sends to post fader.

ON the ducker can the music be reduced volume and softer fade in and out rather than a hard switch?
@allyourbasekris2 жыл бұрын
Possibly, I'd use automixing for something like that though, check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/fILVh3uLZaZ2osU

Thanks for the review. I have just been watching another review of this which recommends choosing, from within the software, a Wi-Fi channel which is not being used so much. Is that something that you have tried before you got the travel router?
@allyourbasekris Жыл бұрын
I have, but in all honesty the built in router let me down too many times to be relied on no matter how busy or quiet the 2.5ghz spectrum is.
@robertbrown2728 Жыл бұрын
@@allyourbasekris Thanks for the quick response! Do you still think the travel router is the way to go? Is there one that you would recommend? Also, I think you said there wasn't an IOS version of the app, if I understood you correctly; do you know if that is still the case? My band is considering buying an X AIR 12, and possibly getting a dedicated tablet/iPad to go with it. It does strike me that if we found it necessary to use an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi, it would be useful to have a basic laptop instead as they generally come with Ethernet ports (I think - I could be quite of touch with whats available these days). As your video is three years old now, have you come across any other negatives with the X AIR 12 in that time? Cheers!

does this behringer xr12 have builtin? feedback loop suppressor or destroyer?

Nope. Although the graphic eq is good for identifying problem frequencies.

Thanks... can we use 4 inputs that is 2 vocals and 2 instrument on zoom calls.. using these X air 12..please reply me
@allyourbasekris3 жыл бұрын
Not without a seperate audio interface. The usb on the xr12 is just for playback and recording to usb drives. The xr18 is the one with the audio interface built in, to do what you require you would need the xr18 or send a bus to an external audio interface. I use a zoom ul44 with my xr12.

@@allyourbasekris then will it possible with my focusrite 2i2 .. thanks for the reply since i need more inputs due to this pandemic home concerts live streams on zoom etc...
@allyourbasekris3 жыл бұрын
@@victorcolney2121 Yes that would work, take a pair of xlr from the left and right output of the xair and plug them into the inputs on your focusrite. Watch your gains on the focusrite as it would be very easy to clip it. Alternatively you can use the bus outputs to your focusrites, those are on 6mm jacks. Although you might want to use the bus for monitoring instead.

@@allyourbasekris I have focusrite solo and i have question can i use xlr to 1/4 jack trs instead of xlr to xlr? I heard that mic level input it's not good idea for this , it is true? I don't want use aux because it's too complicated ;( So how can i get best sound from xr12 to focusrite solo? And i know it will be in mono.

Love this review. BTW, I cooked up a XR12 rack ears for a mate and he suggested I sell them. Then I discovered that they fit the Midas MR12 and the Behringer SD8 stage box: www.etsy.com/ca/shop/SeigiDesign
