Thanks for this video. I had connectivity problems during a show and my iPad was rendered useless as channel 1 was congested by about 30+ wifi users all at once, and I couldn't connect for 6 of the 7 hours we played. Now it won't happen again. :)

Hi, thanx for your video. My Ipad is under V.16 so is ok. When I start X air on my IPad, it doesn’t scan wifi. All is ok with my PC and I use Router plugged in Ethernet. If I use acces point, this is the same problem. Can you help me. Bertrand from France.

Thanks Dragonb - I hear ya about the external router. For the record, the issue you mention about not being able to change channel after loading a snapshot doesn't seem to happen for me using X-Air on a Macbook Pro, so maybe it's just an issue with the iPad app.

Hi, are you sure the channel is realy changed? try a scanner the ipad app is not able to change the channel if you restad its allways on the old setting

Existe opção para celular iPhone eu uso um modelo XR, eu só encontrei um app (MX-Q) que faz controle dos auxiliares, mas não consegui algo que eu possa pelo menos ativar a mesa/cena sem precisar do notebook. Sabe indicar alguma solução?

I don't speak Spanish but I used Google Translate - The app that you used, MX-Q - I never heard of it. But it may be a limitation of the app itself. I would reach out to the creator of the App and ask why you can't change Scenes.

How do connect to my home network using Wi-Fi client on my x air app

This is a very old video. - but you do not connect it to your personal home WIFI network. That is not how it works. You can eithe ruse the internal Wi-Fi router or a personal External Wi-fi router and it's only use is basically to connect your Tablets to connect and opertate your XR/MR18. What is it specifically that you are trying to do.

How did you find out what channel (1-11) was the best in your house? You mentioned the word Scan your venue but how did you do that?

Nestor, this is an old video and I don't even bother scanning anymore. IT's honestly a waste of time. It is best to use an external router.. the internal router is not strong enough.

Michael, don't even bother. Read the video description update.. Basically the XR18's internal router is SHIT - single band. Just buy an eternal 2-band router and forget all the folishness stated in this video. External is the way to go even if you buy a $20 router on ebay.. YOu will be fine.

This was a trick I learned years ago from a video on KZbin. I don't remember how I did it, and it is possible the software has changed since then. I just tried to do it again, and it doesn't seem to work how I recall doing it. Could be an outdated function.

Hello - I was hoping you can show me or explain how I can link specific channel faders on my main channel to my BUS faders. So for example if I lower MAIN channel 17 - it also lowers the fader on BUS 1 channel 17.

i had connectivity issues using 5ghz external router. can i change the wifi channel for the external router as you showed with the internal router here?

showed up at the gig for night 2 and had dropouts within 5 minutes. moved my router 5 feet and never had a problem the rest of the night. it was setting on a sub and had a PA speaker directly above it too, originally. Makes me wonder if them magnets were the culprit. either way, location seems to have been the issue. strange... Thanks....

Damn, I forgot all about that. I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER! - I tried to simulate it in the demo.. it didn't work. Try going to SETUP - Layout and see if you can drag one channel over the other to LINK/Group them up
