Hi our church is using an xr18 and I would like a few more busses for iem without having to use p16m. Can the bus on the sd8 be controlled via the app same as the bus on the xr18?

Is the input from mixer still useable after we plugin the digital stage boxes?

I have added an SD8 to our X32, I want channel 1 on the SD8 to be input 17 on the X32, how do I route this? I can’t get it to work. Thanks

Our church is looking at going to a digital mixer and the X32 is at the top of the list. We would also like to switch to in ears using the X32-q (android) app as opposed to the P16M units. We currently have 3 monitor mixes run to the stage for our wedges. If we were to add another 5 hardwired monitor jacks on the platform, could these be connected using 8 of the busses on the X32 and eliminate the need for a digital snake?

Our church has the X32 Producer and the SD16 and this week got the Behringer P-16M personal monitoring systems. However we have not been able to get anything out of the P-16M's We are using a digital snake and going in to the "A" side. I'm not sure of the problem. Could you please help us to set this up?

+Craig Eidson Make sure you are using a proper length shielded CAT5 cable to connect from your X32 Producer to you SD16 Stage Box. Then you must route signal from your X32 Producer to your SD16 using the "AES60A" tab in the X32 Routing menu. Select which channels you want to feed to your P16's and then just connect them directly to the SD16 using any of the ULTRANET ports on the front of the SD16

Hi. Thanx for the great overview. We have the SD16 I am using the 1st 8 locals on the X32 & 17 to 24 from the snake. I have set up the inputs fine but having trouble getting output from the SD16. I have in-ears under the desk so I want to route them out of the X32 but have 4 outputs I would like to come out of the SD16; so again some local & some from SD16. Can you please explain the settings I need to look at this on the routing panel?

+Jason Alexander The output banks are in channels of 8 on the X32, so the 4 outputs your are trying to route to the SD16 would have to fall in one bank of 8 channels when being sent over to the SD16. You have to specify which AES50 Port Tab (A or B) you are using and then select the bank of 8 channels (the one containing the 4 channels) you want to send out to your SD16 in the X32's routing page.

Our church is lookiing to get the S16, Do we need to configure the L and R mains in the snake or is there a default out already?

I have the same question. I can't seem to get the LR Mains channel fader to route to my SD8/16. I am only able to route individual channels/busses.

Nevermind;) I didn't have the Output 15-16 on the routing page set to post-fader. So many settings, so little time... (Love my X32)

Mike - You will need to configure the output routing from your console to be sent to the S16 Stagebox.

Our church currently uses the PreSonus Studiolive 24.4.2 sound board. Will this digital snake be compatible with our setup by chance?

That board doesn't have AES50 built in, so no you won't be able to use S16 as a stage box with that system.

Hey. our church has just purchased the x32 and the SD16. We have connected the cable and completed the routing however there is still no sounds being output??? there is green lights on the SD16. Is there anywhere we can see on the x32 that the SD16 is connected??

+Joel de Vetter You can check if your SD16 is connected to your X32 by looking at the LCD Screen on our console. Towards the top of the screen, towards the middle/right hand side you will see A and B, these correspond to your AES50 Ports on your X32. If you SD16 is successfully connected to your X32 then you should see it in one of those two spots with a green box next to it.
