Thanks for sharing these lovely riverside parks frequented by the locals. No wonder the willow trees are featured often in Chinese poems. The slender branches and leaves are so alluring and a bit yearning.

There are lots of negative comments about abandonned 2008 Beijing Olympics venues. Maybe a walk in a few might restore some balance to the discussion.

Not at all… I don’t expect that to be the case and it is often the opposite, people want to talk and say hello and are very pleased to see a foreigner so they can find out more. I hope that it continues and people do not get any of the madness that I can see elsewhere 👍
