Welcome to a full morning of homemaking in our house. My goal is to provide you with footage to inspire you to be productive - give you cooking motivation, cleaning motivation and healthy homemaker/from scratch recipes, but mostly it is to share the encouraging message from God in the voiceover. This video can be used for visual purposes or as an audio only podcast.
What really wins a husband over? Is it outward beauty? Is it worldly compromises? Many of us have believed the lie that if we can just be skinny enough or sexy enough, contour enough, and wear trendy enough clothes then our husbands will be attracted to us and everything else will fall into place.
But is that a godly thought? And is that what scripture teaches?
Fluffy Vegan Pancakes:
1.5 cups all purpose or all purpose bread flour
3.5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup almond milk
½ cup water
1 tbs flaxseed
2 tbs coconut oil
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in large bowl.
In a separate bowl mix milk, apple cider vinegar and flaxseed and whisk until bubbles form.
Mix wet ingredients into dry and mix until blended. Try not to over mix the batter.
Cook for about 4 minutes on one side followed by 3 minutes on the other. Enjoy!

Thank you for talking about women who are married to an unbeliever. Sometimes its sooo hard to be submissive to a man who is not of Christ because their leadership does not align with the word of bible resulting in a one sided relationship. There is alot of sacrifice involved marrying a nonbeliever. So its nice to hear reminders consistently! Thanks sister!!

People try to change how God made man and woman to be in their traditional roles, and notice how many problems that causes in relationships. God made man to be the hunter and the woman the gatherer, and there is no changing who we were meant to be. I love everything God and the Bible because it's our handbook for how to live and survive on Earth.❤😊

You address things I have never heard and I have learned things from you that I have never learned like submission comes from being free of fear and total trust in God. Others may have said that but it never clicked before now. God is definitely speaking through you. What you are doing is valuable. I hope you never doubt that.

Submission never means supporting and approving sin and disobedience to the Word of God. Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. As much as I love this, do not try to think a woman should be submissive to an abuser. A man that abuses you or your children whether physically, mentally or verbally, should not be submitted to and you should protect your children and yourself if you are incapable. God gave us precepts but He also gave us a brain. Don’t wait on God to deliver you from a situation that He gave you the good sense to get out of yourself.

To me it comes down to respecting him. If I respect him submissiveness comes naturally as a by-product. So does the gentle spirit (no need to argue, prove myself etc) As my mother of blessed memory taught me when I was having my monthly ''tantrum period'' : What do you think how it will look like when you are older and you no more have the monthly excuse? Focusing oneself first and repenting from what God shows you is so important. I think the greatest error a wife can make is to think that you are the voice of the Holy Spirit for your husband. Stay away from that mindset! (and if a thought of ''yes but..'' arises remind yourself that God is more capable to deliver the message than you, and your husband is more capable of hearing the message from God than from you)

So why would Christians not be doing the same? Your title is great the Biblical woman, because that is what it is living one's life based on the Bible. Advice for my fiance who expects me to fulfill the traditional role but doesn't play his role in it's entirety? Emotionallly, financially, spiritually, I find he has more expectations of doing everything according to my role but doesnt provide the resources for me to completely do them. We have a small child too. I am trying my hardest to do all the things, and sacrificing a lot to do so. A lot of my own resources are compromised to complete them. I pay my own rent, buy most of the food, supplements, baby items. Feeling emotionally and financially burdened. I am a 24/7 full time caretaker who gets sick 2x a month because of how stressed I am

@xbemos

As a woman who has also gone through this, I agree with her comment to you. Keep praying and keep your focus on the lord. I wavered in my faith but I never wavered In prayer for him And things did change. But I also saw evil work on me directly when he would start to change. You HAVE to be stable for him because he is under attack and you will be too until he finds his feet. Hands down. And it will stink so much. But do it as a rebel, because obviously something out there doesn’t want you to succeed. But God does. You’ve got this. Examine yourself, don’t get caught up in him. He, like you, is sinking, and two drowning in the water can not save eachother. You have to choose to become the lifeguard and use faith as the saver.

Thank you for your replies... yes we do have a church home, a good biblical one. We went to premarital counseling with our pastor for a year, and recently it slowed down but I asked if we can start again. I was questioning if there was abuse and told my pastor about several occasions where my fiance has screamed and cussed at me in front of our daughter. It usually happens when all my emotions become suppressed bc fiance doesnt like to talk about anything regarding our relationship and important matters. It builds up gradually bc I don't get to express my concerns. When it comes out, I am usually subtly bitter and it makes him enraged. I see how that can provoke him, but without proper communication, how else can I tell him my concerns without suppressing them? I would rather have civil, calm conversations with no reactiveness

@@Pearls_of_Grace I’m so sorry you are dealing with that. I’ll pray for you and pray that husband’s heart changes. I’m sure you do the same often too. I would really think that the godly men within the church would step up and confront your husband. It’s our job as a body to hold each other accountable for our sins. If they are not doing that or are not willing to do that - I would personally look for a new church. Praying ♥️

@xbemos I really resonate with this perspective as it is difficult to see this clearly. When you are drowning, seeing anything clearly is difficult! But I am blessed in many ways and God is providing no matter what. I am starting to see the bigger picture the more I pray for wisdom. I TRUST the Lord above all and know none of this is in my control. He's my true Husband and has all the reign and power ❤

Anna, that dress is so pretty :)) Q: Who would you say has most impacted your life as in Godly women growing up or did you just feel so differently then; maybe that changed after you came to Jesus looking back? I just think of myself, i truly was a prodigal that grew up in the most loving God honoring home & my parents just kept covering us with prayer.. And strangely looking back i see so many beautiful strong*, gentle* God fearing, warrior soldier daughters of God, that the Lord placed in my life.. i definitely did not see it until years later; i have so much love and adoration for their devotion to the Lord and their families. feminism most definitely lied.. But is music to my soul every time i hear a sister share truth being another little light in this very dark world. Your video reminded me of ~ The woman came from man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side, under his arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. Your wedding picture is so precious, Ralphy&i never got wedding pics as we got married at the court house, we were planning to have our big family Christian wedding after he finished wrapping on a film project, but life went by so fast, my momma got cancer and we never got to do it. My mom was on the skype call though when we got married; it's going to be 13 years this April, i never dreamed she wouldn't get to see me walking down the isle for that reception we hoped for.... But you know i did try on her dress before i flew to Florida to marry Ralphy. I truly think it was a God thing because around this time she just said one night why don't you let me see you in my dress so tried it on even though then i didn't really feel like it. We never fathomed her getting ill leaving us so soon.. So that night was so precious forever to me; I still remember her beautiful smile, she loved Jesus so soooo much... I know she's waiting for us in glory with our Lord, these homemaking videos bring floods of memories because she was the absolute best most amazing proverbs 31 woman i've sincerely ever known. It use to be so hard to think of these memories cause we miss her so much but now many years have passed & i can think of the beautiful precious things with deep love& hope. The truth is for children of God we can extend to others this light inside of us, because of Jesus we don't have to say goodbye forever, in Christ He makes us family forever. Ralphy was so sweet when we were caring for Momma during hospice, he flew out to Canada before he finished the film and we all got in our pjs and he had dedicated it to her after all the credits. It wasn't fully finished but she still loved it.. she passed months before it went to theaters; i still remember holding dad and Ralphy's hand in the theater waiting for the credits to finish to see her smiling face with dad pics and the bible verses Ralphy let us choose.. I wondered if God in heaven let her see it too that night, or if she's asleep up there and it will be like Christmas morning.. that one fine day do we all get to heaven at the same time.. i don't know... I know some Christians believe in soul sleep. I just believe absent from the body present with the Lord for the child of God heaven is our forever home.. Jesus & Dad were her best friends forever, God saved mom&dad from the new age, they had the most beautiful life in Jesus together. They were apart of missionary work in Africa.. I sincerely got to see the most amazing love story that God wrote through them unfold and all our family & friends got too witnessed this. They helped so many others in our family & friends stay together when it seemed all hope was lost even divorce papers being ripped up.. My friends that came from broken homes never wanted to leave because their home was filled with the sincere and true love of God. Daddy&her were married over 40 years, that's so crazy &amazing to me and my grammy and grampy 63 years before they passed both sets of my grandparents are burred next to each other and on dads side their names are Mary&Jospeh and grampy was a carpenter. ~ Life is so precious, Anna its so awesome that you are sharing your beautiful love story and your dear family's journey. I sincerely smile in my heart watching you & other sisters in Yeshua do pretty homemaking things and sharing JESUS its the best, more ladies should see how special and beautiful life with the LORD is and if we have those living waters in us let them come out, so many are thirsty. Shalom friend God bless you&hubs& your dear family so much! 💗hugs rach

Thank you so much! It’s probably my favorite in my entire closet! Looking back now, definitely my grandmother on my dads side. I wish so much she were still here. She died when I was about 20 and I was not serving the Lord then. When I was younger I really wanted to please her with godly “works” but as I became a teenager I thought she was a bit of a prude - but my goodness now I think we would be absolute true best of friends. So I can totally relate to you on being covered in prayer and not even realizing it until later in life. It honestly makes me emotional. I think it just goes to show that we can perceive someone one way and they aren’t even like that at all. What a terrible tactic from the enemy. I wish I could give you a big hug! I know you miss your mom so much. I truly feel that - my dad passed away 6 years ago and it still feels like I live in an alternate reality where it didn’t happen. Praise God that she was a believer. You will see her again one day and you’re relationship will be even more intimate than it could have ever been here ♥️ And there is always time for a wedding vow renewal!!! We rented out an Airbnb and eloped 🥰 not a soul attended except the photographer. We spent less than $1,000 on the entire thing (photographer, legal papers, airbnb, outfits flowers and a couple cupcakes!) Thank you so much for opening up about your life with me 🥹 it sounds like you had wonderful godly influences, and it encourages me so much as a mother knowing I have the Lord on my side and can impact my children and our future generations in the most important way.

@@AnnaDysert Anna💗 sorry to hear of your dad's passing sending you hugs, as you shared about your grammy sometimes we don't even realize until later just how precious they truly are forever in our hearts. I do have loved ones that have passed that I honestly don't know if they ever gave their hearts to Jesus; love hopes all things ~ I still hold on to hope that they did reach out to Him if even in their last moments; God saved the thief on the cross. Years ago a Christian man shared how he felt God was placing his lost father upon his heart; he had a feeling of urgency to share the gospel with his dad but he kept putting it off, brief time passed & sept 11th happened. He was informed that his dad a retired firefighter went to the towers to help rescue & he did pulling people from the towers saving their lives. The son was told his father didn't make it he was heart broken. Time passed & there was a knock at his door a women holding a baby began to ask him about his dad; sharing that she was pregnant & he rescued her & had named her baby boy after him.. Right before he went back to rescue others & the tower would fall she shared the gospel with him & he gave his heart to Jesus. God can do truly above & beyond what we could ever dream or hope for. "The wilderness & the solitary place shall be glad for them And the desert shall rejoice, & blossom as the rose.. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, And everlasting joy upon their heads: They shall obtain joy & gladness, And sorrow & sighing shall flee away.." ~ Isaiah 35 Thank you for the kind words you shared & your beautiful testimony as a family, being such a light in these oceans of darkness.💗 i love what you shared about your hubs&you having such a precious & simplicity kind of wedding, would you ever make a vlog about it, it is very romantic, as materialism is not all its cracked up to be, i'd love to one day God willing do a vow renewal & do something very similar for sure... with love all our family 💞

I am so sorry you’ve had to go through that! Our salvation is not in what we do, but in Jesus and we have freedom from the law. Through our relationship with him we know what he wants, for us specifically and individually in our lives. I dated someone in high school who told me I needed to wear very very modest clothes. I went too modest to the floor, almost turtleneck, even big skirts felt inappropriate. I never felt comfortable or confident in my skin because I was worried I was being too showy! My husband now loves it when I wear a lot of makeup, which I don’t naturally do! I know someone whose husband cares that her nails are always painted pretty! Mine could care less! When we go to church I dress decently modestly! Basic colors too. Sometimes I wear heels or fancy things, but not usually. On dates I feel like I dress immodest because it is for my husband’s benefit and what he wants… yet I am usually the most modest women in the room 😂 I think it is all about balence and knowing the time and place. You never know someone’s heart intentions. Someone being mean to you is wrong though. People can also try or get attention by not wearing makeup and by dressing modestly depending on the crowd. We need to be so focused on Jesus that we don’t even care about clothes! It could be God has convicted someone about dressing modest and other not so much. It depends on your cultural background too what modest looks like! As a Christian Believer you just need to ask yourself, ask your husband (or Dad if not married), and ask God! What do you want! Some husbands don’t even care. I was surprised when I asked my husband, his response. He wanted me to dress more immodest when not at church because it was more attractive to him!! Which is important!!! What does he like, don’t worry about other women’s options! I want to do what gets my husband’s eyes to stay on me… but I don’t want other husband’s eyes! Where is that line? For me personally it is being modest at church and no where else. (Like I said, other than church I’m still pretty much the most modest person the majority of the time still)

If you dress immodestly in public for your husband, you are also dressing immodestly for the world and every other brother and sister in Christ to see. You are not only opening up the possibility for your brothers in Christ to sin but your sisters, who will invariably think that they have to also dress that way to keep the eyes of their husbands on them instead of you. Repent dear sister. The hour is late and you are playing a dangerous game.

While my husband is the leader of our home and does so many things like provide financially/work full time, grocery shop, fix any and everything that is broken, automate our life in every way possible, provide emotional support, and even do all the work to put our kids to bed at the end of the day - How we behave toward our husbands should never be about what they do for us. This is about doing what God has called us to do as wives.

But this woman is CHOOSING to live her lifestyle this way. So, is feminism about choice, or is it actually about making the choices that the feminists want you to make? Why is it "liberation" for women to choose to dress up for men for a "sneaky link” appointment or for her job as a s3x worker, but "regression" for her to dress up for her husband; are both women not choosing to dress up for men? I will pray for your understanding and kindness 🙏🏿

@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 I would personally never say I am in a lower position than my husband. Yes, i do respect him, but i make my own money and am equal. She is calling herself the vice president. Come on! Woman! Have a little respect for yourself!!!

God was also entitled to so much more than the lowest position of a servant who was beaten and crucified on a cross mostly naked, but he was obedient to the point of death. I really think we can all learn something here..
