Even when they're funny, the evil options kind of hit harder in Fallout 3 than in most other games. There's just such an oppressive and bleak atmosphere to the whole game that going around and making things worse for the characters feels wrong somehow. I think that's what Fallout 3 has going for it despite its limitations, it conveys how horrific and dark the world of Fallout is better than any other game in the series.

Once you embrace the dark the shadows behind every light spread further till the light is but a distant star. Killing, stealing from, and abusing those that understand the possibilities within the wasteland is one evil but doing so to those who've yet to understand the meanings behind corrupted intentions is a step beyond the line. It’s so weird how different morality was in each Fallout game. Fallout 3 was comic book morality, Fallout 4 was completely ambiguous, Fallout New Vegas was somewhere in between.
@TiomesTheOneАй бұрын
Fallout 4 didn't feel moral at all. If no one knows/ reacts to your actions in every other town / location, it feels fake. It make seems like your action are meaningless. Even the ending is the same ending for every faction: boom. Better gameplay tho. Fallout 3: I won't say comic book. It takes much inspiration from the darkness of F1 and the quirkiness of Fallout 2. New Vegas is the one with very serious and ambitious dialogue. It's the only one with the "Wild Wasteland" perk, because if can ruin the tone if you're in for a serious and immersive blind playtrough.
