Thanks for sharing this. I am a mom of a three year awesome boy, I also work from home (remote) and I am exhausted. Motherhood is beautiful but also hard. Specially when you are re-parenting yourself. We got this !

I’m not a mom! I’ve got friends who have started families and I totally understand that priorities change. They have littles ones who deserve to have their attention. I’ll always be supportive and be there when we have time to catch up and hang out! Keep your head up and keeping being an amazing mom to Martin! I can see your genuine love for your family. I even teared up.

Yes this is my second boy, and yes definitely understand the part where you miss out on things because then they get fussy, and then it is hard to let him go with others you feel guilty. But thank you for sharing I do not feel alone. Much love to you. Everything will eventually get better. Your baby will thank you later in life.

You’re a fantastic mama. It’s true, hard days, bad moods, even hard phases will happen more times than you can count. But at the end of the day, you’re martins whole world and you’re who he looks to for anything and everything. I think it’s natural for us moms to grow apart in some ways from those who don’t have kiddos. Not to say we don’t still love and care for those friends. But having a tribe who is going through the motions too, is so important. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get to experience the love of a mother when you were younger. But I think there is a sliver lining in it, where you are able to put more love and effort into your motherhood journey because of your own trials 💛

Yes motherhood is lonely! I have lost a lot of friends who don’t understand my parenting style or don’t understand the love of a child because they don’t have one yet. It’s SO hard to trust anyone with your child.

I understand! I’m really strict on naps and people don’t get it. It’s literally my only break during the day. I need that and he does too. People also question how I’m with my child 24/7 just about. Now I can’t picture it any other way. Yes, it’s hard, but it’s just the normal to take him everywhere
