You will see churches and temples built and in Jordan for example Christians freely celebrate Christmas. In fact, I live near a church nearby and it rings it’s bells every Sunday. Even Syria before the war wreaked was very accepting towards different religions. War or external influence from foreign forces or dictatorship brought poverty and chaos to the countries you mentioned so of course they won’t be tolerant to others when in fact they treat their own people so horribly.

Interesting sharings. Thank you! Kamsahamnida! Terima kasih🙏👍 I too think having more musollas (if not mosques) in places other than Seoul and/or Itaewon would help boost tourism in South Korea. Apart from doing own research & reading books on Islam especially a translation of the Quran, and visiting the mosque, I would suggest Koreans, who are curious or interested in Islam, to reach out to Korean revert muslims like brothers Abdullah Al Kory and Karam Kim, who are also KZbinrs. There are also people in the academia, who have reverted to Islam many years ago but I unfortunately can't recall their names. On halal, yes, there is so much more to it. It's not just the prohibition of pork. It also involves a prescribed (proper) way of slaugthering animals that are allowed to be consumed, including doing it in the name of ALLAH, not mixing unprohibited items in the cooking process, using utensils that are not used to cook non-halal food; among others. The concept is "halalan toyyiban".

Wonderful efforts and presentation by Jin.. For sure, the brother from Bangladesh explained in detail about slaughtering and the sisters explained well about their experiences as well. The basic lesson learnt from this video, one should be a Human first, respecting and accepting what other human is. This whole society, from the smallest unit of a family to the scale of whole World is comprising of Human being. We can make this a better place by spreading love and respect for others.

I liked when people ask me about my hijab when i was in Korea!! It gives a very nice opportunity to start a conversation with the locals and it opens doors!! Koreans especially elders might stare at you because of curiousity, and you don't have to be feeling bad about it at all, so what I would do in an awkward situation like this is to smile at them and walk my way 😄

I really wish i could visit Korea atleast once in my life and have the same experience as them, like having friends who could actually help you find halal restaurants, having prayer rooms in universities, people being understanding at work places...what else do i need as muslim? Literally nothing. Simply it makes me more excited to to go Korea. And thanks to these people who come forward and make things a bit easier for people like me who want want to visit there.❤
