Just think, it’s only temporary… after awhile, this will all be a memory that made you guys stronger. Yes!! My husband decided to join . He weighted 250 he had to be 194 . In 2 months he lost all the weight I make sure I cook healthy and I go running with him everyday . He just took the ASVAB yesterday !

thank you for making this video!! We are processing my husband's prequalification now and it really depends how everything turns out. He's 39 and He felt like he needed to do this. Im in full support but also a bit scared. We have a 2 year old and not sure how I can handle the change. You're giving me a lot hope that despite the change, I can do it. Thank you so much brandy

Omg I live in lubbock!! The first two recruiters were nonchalant and did not help him with the process at first at all!! Then finally we found a recruiter that really seemed passionate about his job and helping my husband get to where he wants to be and BOOM now my husband graduates BMT on Wednesday :)

Thanks for your honesty and telling your story! We find military families find it hard to locate resources. It’s about keeping on promoting them so they are aware ! I’m a military kid (and spouse) and we have created children’s books for military children- it’s so important children have access to further supports, especially when a parent is deployed. ❤ would love to connect ! 🎉

Girl our story is so similar 🤣🤣 I cried to God and told Him that I didn’t want to be affiliated with the military at ALL. Fast forward, I get with my husband and he explains to me that it’s something that he’s always wanted to do and I prayed to God about it and I’m here! Imma stand behind my husband during this journey

We are just beginning the process of getting into the air force my husband has to lose weight as well. We are older he is 33 I’m 31 and we woke up one day and realized the path we were on wasn’t what was meant for us. We are from NY and are nervous to leave family but ready to begin our new life wherever it takes us. Great tip to find and be a part of a church right away so you have outside support

OMG your husband's story sounds just like my husband's! He is in DEP right now until a job is open and we're still talking about it everyday. We've been in prayer about it and my husband feels an assurance of peace about it. I want to support him in his dream and praying that God is with us when he goes

I’m an Air Force girlfriend. My boyfriend has already in the service for many years. I met him four years ago. So encouraging to hear this. I’m so proud of seeing him in his garb every time we meet when he has drill. I feel that Papa God has placed us in this relationship for a reason. We’re talking about rings and marriage, so hopefully soon he’ll pop the question when he gets ready. In Papa God’s perfect timing as well. I’m trying to get my certification for Social Studies this year to teach in middle school. Hopefully in a private school setting. Blessings to my brothers and sisters in Christ. We both support and pray for each other. He’s now in Houston and I just recently moved to Brenham. So I may get a job here in the Tomball area soon. Sorry I’m rambling.

My husband wants to join the military and it made me nervous… the people at church support it though and someone mentioned the airforce….. I feel at ease if it is the air force since everyone seems to think highly of how they’re treated. My husband is currently serving in his birth country’s military (mandatory) and I’m trying to familiarize myself with the US airforce life before he finishes his term. I’m going to try and be supportive :) thank you for this video

Long story short I call her bluff & boom! Asvab meps etc etc and folks think I'm crazy for letting her. I'm like letting her? Lol were in this together

yarimar rios we were led to fast from social media and breakfast, Love. So instead of having our favorite meal of the day, we spent time in His word and in worship. Instead of social media, we’d go to our bible app. 💓
