Submission is: obeying your husband in EVERYTHING as is explicitly commanded by God over and over. Submission is core to woman's being, woman is made from man for man, to be his helper. What it's not: Obeying when told to commit EXPLICIT sin, not something you don't like, not something against your conviction, sin. Other than that, submission is to obey your husband in every,in both word, and spirit. Simple as. Everything else is anti biblical lies. Period.

A wife should never say no to her husband. If she has a problem with what her husband has asked of her the wife should ask him to excuse her. And they should talk about it. But the final decision belongs to him.

No leader/follower relationship could ever be equally nurturing. These kinds of marriages decades ago resulted in terrible domestic abuse, and women losing their identities. You can't live for others and expect to keep your sense of self. Leader/follower relationships are not healthy. As for the bible, it's just a book written by people like us, mere opinion of some people. She can have her opinion, but these "submit" relationships are a recipe for disaster.
