A tip for the directions that me and my mom do when we travel... In case of an emergency Before we leave any wifi we screen shot the written directions on google maps to our destinations and back to our hotel just in case. It's really helpful in a pinch. Just thought I'd share. Anyways hope your having a good day : )

A tip for you guys, you can usually get a walking around map from the concierge at your hotel. Its nice to have when in a foreign country because you just never know when you won't have access to the internet or your phone dies! Really helpful when there is a language barrier and you can't just ask for directions! Good luck! and Safe travels!

I just went to Italy last week and I got the travel plan through Verizon as well! Mine didn't work at first either but you have to go into your settings, cellular, roaming, and turn your data roaming on! Your voice roaming will probably already be automatically on! Then when you are in an area with wifi, you can turn your data roaming off! Also, you are supposed to put +1 in front of your family's/friends' numbers or whoever you will be calling and texting during your trip!! :)

I work for Verizon. Make sure your roaming is turned on in your cellular settings. Also turning your phone off and back on in new places can help you latch on to their towers a bit better. Love you guys!

I just got back from London, my kids live there. Liberty is one of my favorite stores, its also in a great area. Right behind liberty is a couple great streets of shopping. As for your phone never buy the extended plan for the UK. Turn your phone to air plane mode immediatly cuz it is roaming and will cost you a bundle. Just keep stopping onto store/coffee places and use thier wifi. Most places including Liberty have guest wifi. If you have a chance go to Borough Market. Also take the train to Windsor Castle its well worth it. So many great places to see wish I could tell you about them all. Enjoy
