Thank you, Sam and crew, for inviting the good doctor on today's live show. As I listened to his personal accounts on what he saw on his stay, I found it impossible to concentrate on my work; all I could do was look down at my keyboard with clench hands and grit my teeth, trying to hold waves of grief and anger. I just hate that we are all witnessing this nightmare unfold before our eyes and near powerless individually to stop it... After I got back home from work, I decided to make permanent monthly donations to UNRWA and the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund. It's... not much, but I hope others will follow suit -- I think it's the least all of us, who care about what's happening, can do. There is also another global day of action for Palestine coming this weekend -- I think there are some groups in my hometown that will form up and I want to attend the rally (I have to double check though). Anyway, I'm reminding myself of Mandela's famous mantra ('We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians') and Peter Seeger's song "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize". One small step at time. I'm going to bed so I can face another day. Thanks for reading my rant (who ever you may be). Left is best. 💚

As a blind, fifty year old man without a home who sleeps on the floor of an elderly person trailer who affords me the "luxury" of course in exchange for my hobbling about, doing what I'm able to be helpful as well as caring for her dogs, etc., though I have to report to work still, 5days a week for 16-20 hours ea week- STILL I Make Time to share with anyone who's not opposed to me doing so, as much as I can get across to them about the Fact that they have been struggling to ENDURE an active GENOCIDE imposed on themselves and their PARENTS, SIBLINGS , CHILDREN, PEERS & NEIGHBORS - How to them, there's no way to ENSURE SAFETY FELT FROM ANY STATION OF CLASS NOR POSITION in society WHEN THEY'D BEEN SEEN equally through the unimaginable lenses of being somehow inhuman to the specific descendants of the fuckin HOLOCAUST! In fact the aggressors literally WEAPONIZE THE ACTUAL HOLOCAUST AGAINST THEIR VICTIMS NOW... I've been to the library to print the report by Amnesty International called 22days of death and destruction... It's an in depth Chronicle and critique of the I.D.F.'s "Operation Cast Lead" Specifically section (?) 2-1 is my choice since it's so VERY FRIGHTENING PART despite how much of what we are aware about this situation is equally unimaginable.. THIS portion describes the truth regarding "HUMAN SHIELDS" & How it's not HAMAS but Israeli military s practices that employ THIS VERY disgusting act.. SO they're not sure what they are able to make of the Challenges people who have been able2 make time for my hobbling and rambling on about it ALL.. THE same way my mom had always been able2 make sure she'd spread the word about the circumstances they were going through with her Union siblings as a female Journeyman Carpenter in 1980's Georgia as a single mother of Two. I went through the same as a single Dad after the ex was murdered in front of our 10 year old kid.. BUT In 2020 when her grandma (my mom) was taken by COVID on my ex's birthday, much less, it proved too MUCH to bear and I found my child in distress just 15 days after their 15th birthday that October and spending the next 20 minutes struggling to get her breathing against the odds until the first EMS arrived and they stabilized only to be informed there'd been too much time without oxygen and the fate was Cast So I was barely able to do the best thing I could have and shared with other children etc the best Little chances possible for Lyric, (my child's name) to still impact the world with positivity. I gotta do the same as best I can to help the kids and families in need of being HEARD about at least

it does, the hope of humanity might fall into the hands of hte young generations whih seems to hold more morals than the older ones. even your message is a big deal when read by the young. as a palestinian who's been to europe, russia and some of the middle east countries. i met many people. talked a lot of politics and the older people are the more they seemed stuck in the past. the 100 years + of propaganda. i've learned that the the younger generations are our hope. so again, ty for your message olya:)
