Hello, I understand the concerns surrounding commentary on Pagan / Witchcraft-related books. However, as a viewer, it can be helpful to have that feedback from authors who know what it takes to navigate the publishing world. Some tips around this can include reading and reviewing content that isn't related to your path, doing comparative dialogue, and discussing what you may have learned. Example: I am primarily a Druid in spirituality, and we do not have much accessible information (non-academic). Watching other Pagans review books by various Druid paths is fascinating to me. OBOD can often be the obvious comparison, and indeed, the founder of OBOD and Gerald Gardner were good friends, so crossover is abundant. Yet, looking into AODA or ADF would be like diving head-first into an ocean of academic information that would feel closer to Celtic Reconstruction or Celtic Polytheism (these terms come with issues but another time). New and diverse areas can be challenging but illustrating how to navigate them with respect and awe can open a world of new content. Almost like amateur anthropology. Also, safety is so important. Please know your boundaries are accepted and respected. 🙂
