What’s even worse is when you have to eventually turn your back on your family for your financial future and sanity. You start to feel your self worth lowering every time you give in to them. But, I am 3 yrs in of saying my first no. Now they don’t even bother to ask anymore.

A junkie sometimes can’t run from that narcissistic attitude. Could have taken 1k off the truck and pay the sister back. Could have done a lot of things to pay back or show to pay back. This same exact thing happened to my sister and me. I wasn't worried about when I going to get the money back ( even though I needed it) because I thought she was struggling too. Then I saw her buying all kinds of things she didn't need. That is why things went bad. I understand once a person starts making money wanting to enjoy it but first responsibility is to pay back the people you owe. The people who were there for you. Even if they don't need the money back you still should pay it back as a show of gratitude. Also, if you ever need them again why should they help you if you didn't appreciate the first time.

I feel bad for the Plaintiffs. Being generous enough to help the defendants out. You've got 2 recovering addicts that have hooked up and their spending every last dollar that comes in on themselves and nothing in the bank for a rainy day. And why isn't she working?? The odds are that he'll screw up and lose that job and he and his girlfriend will end up losing every frivolous item that they blew the money on, and his sister and brother-in-law aren't going to be so willing to get burned again. And back on the opiates once again to cope with their failure to manage their debts.

The Judge saw through all this nonsense and brought them together with that hug. You can tell a lot about a person by how they handle their money. As in...do they pay their debts or do they keep taking with no accountability or shame. I give my son a little bit here a little bit there and then I get to the point where I have to be firm and say, "Okay, now you will have to pay that last one back because my bills need to be paid too! Hate even having to say that. Embarrassing. I should never have told him how much I have in my savings account. 🤣🤣🤣

Every time I see this case I think that judge is so MF nosey and messy to make that lady get up. Not because she wanted to bring them closer but because she wanted it to get Juicy for more mess between them. The husband was doing just fine. She just can't stand when a woman won't speak up. In this case it wasn't necessary to put her against her brother. He already did plenty of damage by being an A-hole who skipped out on paying her back. He makes 70 an hour. He could've paid that back in a week with no payment plan needed if he wasn't a user. Reading all those texts were unecessary tho.
