It really does. I just got into a heterosexual relation ship and I am a closited bisexual. I was happy at the moment but afterward I really didnt know how to react. I dont want to be stuck but I also dont want to let him down. I kinda have commitment issues now because of my last relationship witch didnt end well and was also prittey toxic. He was mean to me, one time he said that my feelings and emotions didnt matter as mutch as his because im a woman and he forced me to come out and told everyone that im bi when I definitely wasnt ready and still am not. He also shared private information about our realationship. I really think that this is not okey but I can do nothing about it and I dont want to make people pick sides in our friend group. (also at the time a lot of my family members were getting diagnosed with canser, so it really wasnt a good time for me. btw they are cured now, thank god) He said that I was gonna walk away with some random girl. Now I feel like im betraying my current boyfriend by being myself and I feel horrible. I want to be happy with him but I feel like crying. Anny support or tips on what to do are very welcome. I’m in an open relationship with my wife of 26 years, I’m pansexual and she is bisexual. It can be difficult to for people to navigate the waters of sexuality as there is no “one fits all” template. In our relationships I see everyone as people not as him or her or them, etc. I’ve been in relationships of all types whether that be trans, gay, straight, or any of the other designation individuals use to define themselves. For me, love is love and attraction is for whoever you are drawn to. I grew up in a very Christian (Baptist) household and I’m glad that I took everything with a grain of salt. My teenage kids are well adjusted thriving individuals and I’m thankful everyday they were not raised on the lessons I was given as a child....bigotry, racism, homophobia, shamming, judging environment where everything was justified by “the word of God”.

In addition I just talked about in in all day life. Like when he saw a cute girl on insta or sth. I just said yes or uuh I think she so cute even if he didn't say anything. So it became normal and isn't a special thema. The part with being unsure about my experience and if their enough for me...I cried again and told him (not drunk^^). We all know the porn industry or the ,,male,,desires that wants more than 1 women,that kind of label is actually wrong. If i care about someone,i'm devoted to that woman,i will never want another woman in my life or my bed.The gimmick that men would enjoy 2 women in bed is not necesarilly true.Altho i find another women attractive i don't want or desire to have them in bed with me.I'm faithful to my wife and vice versa. I can definitely understand not wanting to be wrong about your sexuality. I think a good thing to remember though is that it actually is ok to be wrong. If you come out as Bi and then decide the label doesn’t fit, you can change it. As for your school. I think the “Bi for attention argument is really weird because 1. You don’t have to have a “good reason” for being Bi and 2. Even if you were enjoying some attention from coming out as Bi, would that really be the worst thing in the world? It’s actually ok to do things for attention sometimes. Humans are social. As long as you’re not lying or hurting people who cares? Anyway I know this isn’t my channel, but I hope this helps. 🙂

Thanks for this! I'm particularly struggling with not being perceived as queer because my only homosexual relationship has been with my trans girlfriend. Getting hit with the biphobia and transphobia. When people are questioning my bisexuality, they are questioning my girlfriend's gender which makes me twice as frustrated. I don't know how to explain that genitals are not the only part of gender experiences in a relationship. We flirt as two women, we experience the world as a queer couple, I love her as a woman. While it should not matter whether I've ever had a relationship with someone of a different gender, it makes me so frustrated when this relationship "doesn't count."

Hey Dutchy! Could you please make an video about omnisexual, pansexual and bisexual? Cuz I know that bi means liking more than 1 gender so bi include also omni and pan. You should not accept it at all and it IS cheating. I know this because I am in the similar situation as your husband. I had a LDR with a guy but as he became too busy I friendzoned him before the relationship became too strong, and even dismissed my bi feelings as I didn't even met him physically. I met a woman and we are now married with kids, but he reached out to me now 5 years after my wife forced me to block him and all feelings for him came back. I'm not gonna lie, the temptation to tell my wife that I want to sleep with him in order to "find myself" is quite strong, but I know well enough to resist that temptation at all cost. My wife is amazing, and has done everything I could wish a woman to do. She doesn't deserve her husband to go "find himself" with a guy. I'm actually terrified that I will become so overtaken by my emotions that I become stupid enough to have the audacity to ask my wife the way your husband did to you. It may feel right to your husband, and it may feel right to me, but logic tells everyone that it's a horrible thing to do for a marriage.

I have this constant feeling of not being bi enough because I only ever dated guys. I am in fandom, I ship a m/f ship (though both characters are bi) I just identify much with because it is the first ship of a other marginalized group I am in I ever saw, but I heard so often that I am only a real bisexual if I date only women and only focus on f/f ships. I think you need to talk that through and voice your concerns as they are valid. Learning to say how it's effecting you in a considerate and understanding way is the tricky bit. Need to get advice on how to have that conversation rather than reassurance. Anyone know how to have that chat?

Being bisexual isn't the same as being polyamorous. While someone could be both bi and poly they are not the same thing, just as being straight and poly are not the same thing. Being bi means you could fancy a person of either gender, or all genders if you are pan; being poly means you want to have either an emotional or intimate relationship with multiple people simultaneously. Im bisexual and my wife cannot stand it. She constantly says the marriage is gonna end because I can’t be trusted around men. She claims to be a pillar of the gay community and she is open with understanding. She even brags that her best friend was a gay male but when I came out it all changed. Hey, quick question! Am i bi or still straight? - i am straight. Or was. Just went thru a breakup with my EX-BOYFRIEND(long-term). Then i have this friend(a bisexual), that i think i feel something for her. I haven't felt this way before for a girl. I always said to my self that i just feel this bcoz maybe i need a rebound to ease the pain from a breakup. But i did not use her. Instead im trying to avoid her but the more i do it, the more i miss her. I've even been dreaming about her. I dont know if whom i am trying to forget now. My ex-boyfriend or her. Bcoz i dont have concern with my ex anymore. Im more concerned why i feel this way right now. Im confuse bcoz i think im inlove with a girl/bi. Is this normal? Thanks.

3:54 As a bisexual man, I don't know if there is something different between the genders, but I do feel like I can't really be satisfied with one partner (I am only ever been in straight relationships, I just keep my bi-side repressed). It's just a physical reality that the kinds of acts that are possible with one gender are not strictly possible with the other gender. I can love someone very much, but me being the penetrative one is a fundamentally different act, mindset, emotional state than being the receiving one in sex. It has nothing to do with monogamy or loving one individual, it's just a totally different way to experience sex. So in that sense, I have cravings sometimes to be the bottom which just can't be satisfied in my heterosexual relationship. And I'm sure if I were ever in a homosexual relationship, I would probably crave being with a woman? Maybe not I've never tried it. Can this craving just be ignored? I guess so I just repressed it all my life, but I wouldn't call it fulfilled.

!!! I Need Advice !!! How would you handle your boyfriend questioning your sexuality ? Mine said how could i be bisexual if im only attracted to him and i just didnt even know how to respond because to me its coming from an insecure place but to him he’s just trying to make sense of it. I dont really know how to have that conversation because it does make me feel like he doesnt accept me but i dont want him to just walk around thinking i wanna go be with women. I fully accept myself and i know that i love him and only want to be with him im fulfilled so i just feel like defending myself makes me look guilty. Please give me hard love whoever reads this because i have a hard time setting boundaries and have a very headstrong stubborn boyfriend. Dutchy: Let me tell you about what it's like being bisexual in a heterosexual relationship. Me before she even continues the rest of the video: *IT'S A NIGHTMARE.* I am bisexual but have mostly dated men my whole life. Girls just make me so nervous and a lot of girls I've liked have either been straight or just didn't like me that way. But one guy I dated insulted me and made me feel so horrible for being bisexual. We didn't break up because of that we broke up for other problems but I still haven't forgotten nor forgiven him for that. Now I feel like I truly have found the love of my life. But even though he doesn't downright insult me and even though he never expresses any sadness or insecurity about my sexuality I know it's there. I can see it in his eyes. Everything else is so wonderful in our relationship but is he ever going to grow out of this. Is he always going to be insecure because I happen to also like girls? Is he always going to be stressing about me possibly being unfaithful? Cause that much he has told me. Because I have been with a lot of people and I like girls he was worried in the beginning of our relationship that I might be unfaithful. He says that he has finally made peace with that and gotten over that. I got a job at Cedar Point and so we were separated for the whole summer as I have to live there to work there. He didn't want me to go because he was going to miss me. But when I came home he admitted he also was worried that being up there living away from him and being surrounded by all those people I was working with and living with in the dorms that I would cheat on him. But I didn't and so that proved to him once and for all that i am committed to him. And I want to believe that but I can still sense his insecurity. And it just hurts that that insecurity comes from 2 things I have no control over. My sexuality and my dating/sex history. Sure I like girls but I love him. I'm not gonna lie sometimes I wonder if our love really will last forever. We get married some day and then one day when we've been married for 10-20 years he decides he wants a divorce because we just can't get over our differences. Or I'm the one who decides to leave him because I've finally had enough of my love not trusting me and being so paranoid about me cheating or leaving him and just feeling like i'm worthless because of my sexuality and dating/sex history. Now I know if I was in love with a woman our relationship would have problems too because no relationship is perfect. And she might even have insecurities because I've been with a lot of people. But at least one thing I hope would be a little better is that she hopefully would accept my sexuality and be fully supportive of it. I hate to pull the gender card but from what I've experienced girls seem to be more okay with that than guys. But I'm losing my mind here. Someone please give me advice.
