Disabled from UK here. Laughed so hard at zombie invasion, had a seizure, forget id watched it, watched it again - was told this happened 8 or 9 times. Best day I've had in years. @Bibi Brin Much as I do not want to put a pin in this as I have enjoyed the many dialogues it has spawned, as you've asked for the details I'll tell you the story. I am indeed disabled and have a number of conditions both physical and neurological that make my life......interesting. One of them is Temporal Lobe Epilepsy that started 22yrs ago after a brain infection. I was later diagnosed with TEA, and it's this little bugger that can cause the most problems with memory. I usually only get episodes a couple of times a month, and just after I've woken up. On this occasion however, my wife had sent me a link to this sketch and was sat on the sofa near me as I watched it. I laughed so hard it triggered the TEA and I blacked out (from my perspective). On a side note, I also managed to scald my (ahem) "gentleman's vegetables" with a hot cup of coffee that I had the misfortune to be holding at the time. I initially thought I'd pee'd myself laughing as my wife has an evil sense of humour, but she later fessed up it was coffee after I said "so why does it smell like coffee then", but that's another story. Once settled, I watched him again as his sketch was still open on my lappie; and it triggered me again. My wife was torn between concern and hysteria, but eventually relented after what she believed was the 8th or 9th time it happened. Given the limited experiences I can have in my life, this was indeed one of the best days I'd had in years. Thankyou for the heartfelt wishes sent by some; they are much appreciated. To the doubting Thomas's, all I can say is that its perfectly right to be allowed to be sceptical/doubtful about things in life, to question or present a position of disbelief; as long as it is always meted out respectfully and with consideration. Just because a person has a differing or opposing viewpoint to you does not automatically mean they are your enemy. Apologies for the essay😝 Peace, good health and long life to you all. Mr D.

Don't rely on hope. Seek what you desire inside to make the changes you want to make in yourself. Hope and prayers do not work. If it's focusing on someone that laughs easily, then keep doing that each time you see the person...but let the person know what you're doing. Possibility the person will engage and help. I needed that after I left Christianity because that religion sucks so much. Jesus doesn't do anything. I had to do it, and my friends helped. Especially the woman that I focused on when I'd go shopping and see her. It wasn't a sexual thing, it was attempting to find humor again because of my disability...and Christianity is such a hypocrite religion with a false God and Savior. Find laughter, and honesty. Laugh about yourself, and complement other people. Keep doing it and you'll change your outlook. Beeeeen there, done it. :-)

@fireemblem7233 жыл бұрын
As someone with Cerebral Palsey too, you gotta laugh. You can't take it seriously. My friends are fully aware they have cart blanche to unload all their worst jokes because I have something most people never expect, a sense of humor. As long as its in good fun and not intentionally malicious, what's the harm? My friends say things about me that a lot of people would think I should be offended by but I just shake my head and laugh. Because if I can't laugh at myself, what can I do? Tell your son he isn't alone, that there are people who are just like him and to NEVER give up the idea that he is normal, even if his definition of it isn't what everyone else's is. We're the normal ones. To me, it's everyone else who's weird, y'know?
