The part where elmo was talking to the sick child and the camera panned down to Kevin shedding a tear, I balled my eyes out.

Kevin has the softest heart, you see him shed tears a lot, also at his daughter’s sixteenth birthday and at the performance in memory of Jim Henson. Kevin’s carefully protected innocent and childlike heart is all poured into Elmo. ;3;

Well then get a reality check.. After leaving seamstreet and kermit voice artist being fired they don't have work at all. They r no where to be seen ad puppetry is not big anymore. So being realistic with ur dreams is also important... If sesamstreet was not there they would have never got tht huge

He didn’t “bring him down”, Kevin wasn’t fired. Kevin is innocent and chose to leave for the sake of children whom he wanted to protect and entertain. Goes to show his innocence even further, giving up his dream to protect the innocent. His accuser should rot in jail, I want to see what he’s up to now. Probably a drug addict or a toxic narcissist enacting their trauma onto others.

We watched this documentary last night and it was heartwarming and touching. Very interesting in many aspects when it comes to human development. Sometimes it seems we need a different pathway to express parts of ourselves that we would otherwise not feel safe or comfortable expressing. it may take real courage and determination to not put inner longings away as childish dreams when we are criticized by our peers and we are very fortunate when we, like Kevin, have supportive parents.

This is what makes the Muppets (whether its on Sesame Street or Fraggle Rock or in the Muppet movies) SO REAL. Yes, on the surface, they are bits of felt and fuzzy fabric with eyes....but they have been INFUSED with love and emotion and a soul and over time, they have BECOME real. Even adult actors who work with the Muppets say so. They don't look at the person handling the Muppet. They look at the MUPPET and give them respect and attention.

Despite what happened shortly after this release, they did a great job on this documentary. I really liked the end credits song I thought was really cute something like “There goes the boy again with the buttons and the glue. Who knows what friend we’ll be when he is through?”. It’s a shame about the case, but can’t deny that Kevin Clash genuinely loved the art of puppeteering, in this sense just the same as anyone working with Jim Henson-that side of him was always a separate thing. But I did think there was a bittersweet air about his story. But anyway, it was still nonetheless a solid documentary

Ok, this is the next thing on my watchlist. Elmo... is my childhood. When I was little, I would watch Elmo’s World all the time. In the night, so I wouldn’t feel alone, I would a giant Elmo plushie next to me so I could sleep. I loved seeing Elmo. I still do, even at almost 15 I still do. It breaks my heart whenever people on the internet make disgusting memes or videos of Elmo, like burn him, shoot him, make him scary, or whatever, anything horrible. Society at this point can ruin your childhood in seconds by harming characters that _people_ created for you to love. Even though I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m going to, everyone should watch this! Even the people who make those horrible videos of Elmo should watch this! Especially those people! Elmo is my childhood and I will never forget how much he has made me happy! By the way, I still have that giant Elmo plushie, and the best part is, I still put him next to me when I sleep

For you to make an outrageous statement based on simply articles from the Media is ludicrous and ignorant. Actually step back and look at the situation, just the fact that he was alleged of doing it while in a career dealing with children is enough to make anyone resign whether you did it or not. Considering that his accuser didn't even follow through with the lawsuit is enough to raise suspicion, who knows what happened. Seriously we can see right through your hatred its clear as day.
