Black women dont have the weave game on lock because for a long time they didn't have access to the hair. Asians took that opportunity to corner the market. Both systemic and nonsystemic factors, which i won't get into, are involved. But thats all starting to change especially out here in NY. black women have weave spots in all hoods. Its really dope to see.

I think this is sad, the father should’ve been teaching this young woman to be different why would you want your female child to even indulge in this type of behavior, I’m glad she doesn’t have any children right now, her thinking is all off. At the end of the day her father will be very very sad if she succumbs to what it could lead up to. As a mother who has lost 2 sons to gang violence I live every day trying to understand where I went wrong but I came to one conclusion it wasn’t anything I did, I didn’t make a killer take my kids life it was their own decision I never promoted any type of gang anything to my son’s I never would ever glorify it are encourage it. I just hate to see another parent do it. Life would be so much better for our youngsters if they had better leadership inside the home first and foremost

Alonzo ,you know you got deep when you started the weave conversation!! Because for a Woman to Say " Natural Is not for everybody "! The black community is sick 😷 and we need healing! The only exception, is if a black woman is losing her hair or something like that!!! And I'm from Compton and I played a lot of park league Basketball 🏀 games against Mona Park Back in the day! Black pride is embracing who you naturally are ,like naturally embracing being From Mona park generation to Generation, Black Folks we have to think about what we are saying, especially are young Ladies!! Because they are the mothers of our community!!Good interview Though!!!

As far as the hair supply business part. One reason Asians own more businesses than Black-Americans is because Asians start rotating credit groups. This is how they fund many of their businesses. They go by different names depending on the group using them. Caribbean Blacks call them susu loans. Black-Americans as far as I know rarely us this funding approach.
