I have a childhood friend who was sentenced to 'life' back when we were teenagers. I was 19 and he was 18 at the time. I spoke to him on the phone about 10 years later and I remember him telling me about how everyone we used to hang with was forgetting about him. That made me realize that over that 10 year period I had stopped thinking about him also.

Nothing is wrong with dark skin. The question is why do lighter skinned blacks ridicule the darker blacks for being dark. I heard there is a pro-black guy on KZbin, that actually makes fun of another KZbinr because he is dark, and he is a pro-black, go figure!

I'm a LA baby with pround Ghanaian parents, so I speak on it. Africans, with all our issues, don't respect slave mentality, cause it's off our natural get down. We call them that mentality "White man" in Africa cause they understand the "white man"-proverbially at this point, wants to keep our minds enslaved. I've been to Africa, they love Malcom and Betty, Harriet Tubman, MLK and Coretta, etc. Many Black Americans and Caribbeans live in Africa, cause Ghana made a law to invite all Black folks to have dual citizenship and permanent residency as a reparation and apology for their part in the slave trade from tribal wars- more than we can say about Amerikkka, and many of yall still WILLINGLY accept their new forms of slavery. Continental Africans respect family units, hard work, and action. If you come from American African stock and fit the criteria, Africans respect that. Most Americans that talk like Africans are the enemy usually come from backgrounds that don't reflect pride in themselves- money not an issue cause the hood has plenty of hard working, united Black folks. My woman and my mother love each other, cause my mother respects her background and upbringing-she's from Leimert Park, fam from New Orleans. It's Africans from R60s (not just Nipsey Hussle), BPS Js AND Citys, HBC211. My dad trusted my homie's (from Marvin Gangstas) mom (single mother with 5 kids) with my life for 6 months when I was living with them in the PBGs, cause she was a stand up woman with respect. My mom fed MSX3, SYC, MGC, NH20s niggas growing up. I have many American Africans in my family by marriage, and at times, we all party together. On that note, RIP to Sporty Face from R40s Glove Gang who was family by marriage, known him since he was a baby. So y'all stop perpetuating the Black on Black disconnect. The world don't revolve around American Africans, and some of our ways keep us down, and it's not a good look. Don't be mad when our people across the pond/removed from American trappings come here and observe that. AFRICA UNITE!-Bob Marley

yall can say what you want about american blacks denying this and that. but so called Latinos of african decent may have it worst. They deny their blackness with the term latino in itself. latino is a colonization label by way of iberian peninsula. it blankets individual cultures and gives it a euro centric claim. spain did a number on their subjects as well.

Master Mind Sex with underage children? Ahh africa has the highest number of baby rape in the world! A number of high profile baby rapes since 2001 (including the fact that they required extensive reconstructive surgery to rebuild urinary, genital, abdominal, or tracheal systems) increased the need to address the problem socially and legally. In 2001, a 9-month-old baby was raped by six men, aged between 24 and 66, after the infant had been left unattended by her teenage mother. A 4-year-old girl died after being raped by her father. A 14-month-old girl was raped by her two uncles. In February 2002, an 8-month-old infant was reportedly gang raped by four men. One has been charged (McGreal, 2001). The infant has required extensive reconstructive surgery. The 8-month-old infant's injuries were so extensive, increased attention on prosecution has occurred. The raping of infants and/or children may also be due to the belief that sex with a child or baby will cure AIDS. Virginity testing is growing and many times occurs in school. Girls must lie on their backs with their pants and underwear off and legs in the air, preferably on a sloped floor (IRIN HIV/AIDS Weekly, 2001). A survey in East London, South Africa, by the University of South Africa found that 18% of 498 workers believed that sex with a virgin could cure AIDS (South Africa: Virgins, victims..., 2002). In Gauteng, 32% of those interviewed believed this myth. Some discount this belief for the reason behind rape, but Barbara Kenyon, director of the Greater Nelspruit Rape Intervention Project in the Northern Province of South Africa, has found in follow-up visits that many children become HIV positive and that children who are raped are getting younger and younger. Some analysts have stated that desperate people are desperate for a cure. Money for AIDS drugs is essentially unavailable despite the victory by the South African government last year against pharmaceutical companies to buy AIDS-treatment drugs at a cheaper price. Unemployment among Blacks and mixed race is anywhere from 30%-60%, but typically around 60%. Many individuals work without formal work contracts and benefits. The median income for Blacks and mixed race can be as low as $300/year, and the cost for AIDS drugs average $40 to $50 per month, clearly out of reach for a large majority of the population. Payment for health care in hospitals or care centers is means-based. Others blame the high rate of violence, including sexual violence, on a culture of violence that existed in South Africa for decades because of apartheid.

@streetgangs7 жыл бұрын
dude, you dont understand the justice system. You plead out to 5 years, because if you loose at trial, the systems makes you pay, 25 years. So what do you do? risk loosing in trial for 25 or you take the 5 year deal after you already spent almost 2 years in the County fighting it. Its a NO Brainer!!!!!!
@InCloseFighter7 жыл бұрын
No, I understand it very well actually. The way he answered your question, I'm assuming you're the interviewer, he basically made it seem as though he didn't do it...like they just gave him the charges for no reason. Like I said, he did the sh**. Obviously if you're faced with a lengthy sentence the objective would be to get as less as possible, but if you're truly innocent, I'm fighting it....I'm not pleading to something I did not do. No way in fucking hell. Gonna be a long trail because I'm clearing my name and want the evidence to show I wasn't involved.

We love interviewing OGs, and we will continue to interview them, but we ask of you to support those interviews too. Our analytics tell us that although there is a lot of love for the OGs, yall do not support them and watch those videos as much. But prove us wrong on our next episode when we do on an OG. Any special request?

We interview whom ever we chose. We been doing this before anyone you can think of and our first interviews are dated 1995, before KZbin, before social media and before anyone ever thought this shit was cool. So maybe you should come on here and thank us for creating a lane for other people to follow and continue. Jus Sayn!
