Scott, I held the door for you at the bathrooms before second round and just that was a pleasure. You rule.

I have followed your journey from the start. I am coming out to watch the final round of DGLO in person tomorrow, and Scott Stokely is the number one disc golfer I want to follow. It takes tremendous character and courage to put yourself out there and to face the camera after a dissapointing round...I don't know if I could do it. Can't wait to see you shred tomorrow!

I think you nailed it for yourself, Scott. No one besides you cares what you threw. But if you need that thing, than you have the skills and the aptitude to get it. You battle yourself.

That's the spirit Scott! You shred no matter what. I am now in the middle of your biography book and man, the story of your life is just amazing no matter how you perform on the course - just be yourself and keep inspiring us, the younger blood to be good people first of all and good disc golfers. Peace!

you're the man Scott. always striving for better is what makes it hurt. this season has been so awesome watching you along the way. I walked past you when you were on that bench today. I wanted to let you know how much love we've all got for you but this was time for you. Goodluck tomorrow!

It's all perspective. As the 100th ranked player in the world, you are better than 99.9% of people in the world that play this game. Not bad!

In the end of it all, I think of this... Did I die from it? No, good, I'm doing good. Yes? I have other things to do as my consciousness leaves my body. What was is no longer important, only what I am to do next. I have faith in you Scott. I understand that it can be easy to have a lot of expectations on the self.

Sometimes I think it’s easier not being that good at disc golf. Most my rounds are bad so having a bad round never ruins my day. A bad day of disc golfing beats a good day of anything else.

You played what we used to call a Mr. Herlihy round....as in: He Hurled, as in puked. Always pack an air sickness bag in your bigger air sickness disc bag. Apocalypse DGLO....No Harrah, just HORROR, The crystalan HORROR. SIDEBAR: Most every disc golf caddy turns their back to the player near everytime they walk over, shunning them, I see it happen time after time. Disc golf caddies hate their players. Reg golf caddies never do that.

Feeling down is part of the human condition. There is nothing wrong with wallowing in self pity for a little while. It's about not letting that go on too long or letting it spiral down. Don't just gloss over your emotions, feel your feelings, then put things in perspective and work your way back to happiness. Being happy can be a decision

...maybe you put too much pressure on yourself??? Just look positively forward, better rounds will come for sure! 👍😊
