Thanks for your guidance. I've heard similar explanations but your brief comments are well put.

I love your simple way of explaining your experiences. I feel like because i have stumbled upon this information i owe it to myself to at least go as far to enlightment as possible in my life. Thanks so much!

I read and listened to a variety of spiritual teachers, but I teach from my own understanding and realization. I had not studied nonduality at all until after my realization of nonduality...and so I read about it to see how others tried to explain the unexplainable.

What happened when you became enlightened?

I just saw a new video of yours the other day. 9 years passed and you haven't aged. What the heck man?
@NondualityChannel5 жыл бұрын
If you watch the video before the last, you will see I do have some gray hair...it is all in the beard.
@sacredhogwash94355 жыл бұрын
@@NondualityChannel I think enlightenment has changed your aging process man, you're barely turning gray. I'm surprised you don't have more information about the video you watched in the library that enlightened you. You should be telling everyone to watch that video like you did, follow the practice in it, because if it was good enough for you, it's probably gotta enlighten some others too don't you think?

That information in the video can not be separated from what I speak about...I have shared it in my own way many times. I make no secret to the name of the video, so if someone feels they want to watch it they can. Besides, it was not the video that caused enlightenment...it was being truly present (thought ceased) that created a conducive space for the grace of enlightenment to happen. Being present...being still and quiet - without thought - is very important. Aging may change some due to enlightenment, primarily due to the lack of stress. Stress ages the body. However, I would say much comes from my mom...who has aged very well as well.

@@NondualityChannel Can you link to the video that made you truly present? I have had trouble finding it.
@NondualityChannel5 жыл бұрын
I don't have a link...as it is not online. I borrowed it from the library. It was called the Flowering of Human Consciousness. It was not the video that made me present, but inhabiting the body. Eckhart gave a 5 minute exercise/experiment to help inhabit the body during the 2 DVD set running 3.5 hours.

Thank you so much for the reply Eric. One more thing, do you have any suggestions on how to be present or aware always because I always fall. I have few nonduality books and depend on internet for satsangs because there's no satsang here in the Philippines! Thanks again!

Hi Eric! Beofre you became a spiritual teacher, did you focus on one teacher alone or you listen from variety of teachers and make your own teaching? Thanks...

What if I imagine a thought say that I imagine is a plant on an empty table in the room I am in. Isn't that thought in the present moment
@NondualityChannel Жыл бұрын
Don't you see that daydreaming/imagining like that distracts from what is going on in the now? While imagining a plant on an empty table...you notice less of what is actually going on. Just be aware of the sensations...the experiencing of the moment...cease thinking which has nothing to do with what is going on now. In the absence of thought, there is only the present moment...be fully aware of that.

Is the body awareness is something similar to the Vipassana meditation?
@NondualityChannel3 жыл бұрын
Similar, I guess. I don't know Vipassana very well...nor how it is normally taught these days.
@duffersweeney3 жыл бұрын
@@NondualityChannel i did the 10 day Vipassana course, it is indeed similar. It's basically scanning the body for sensation from top to bottom and repeated over and over leading to a quieter mind or more present to what is.
@NondualityChannel3 жыл бұрын
@@duffersweeney Thank you for the clarification. Scanning the body is a doing. Body awareness, as I suggest, is just being openly receptive to feeling whatever can be felt. No repetitive scanning or doing needed. No need to guide attention...just be openly aware and receive. Curious as to how much and what can be felt.
