Another thing I thought about with being indirect is that, not only will you waste time and attract time wasters, but you'll also mess up with women who are actually interested in you. Even if a woman is interested, she will only respond to that man making moves. If he doesn't make a move, nothing will happen as a result regardless of how attracted she is to the guy. The longer dudes take to get to the point with women, the higher the probability of her getting turned off from feeling rejected by the dude or realize he isn't assertive enough.

From my dating experience it was always easy to tell which women would be going and the ones that only wanted attention. School and work are both artificial places where ppl are forced to be there around familiar folks for a short period of time before they leave. You will eventually smash something since ppl are used to being around the same types of ppl and knowing each other. It was easier b/c the women would make it very obvious and come onto me, whereas in public or everyday life it's not so obvious. So, what that tells me now is that I'm not that attractive to a lot of women sexually speaking, as I was in those other environments like school. The same women who gave me some at school probably wouldn't if I met them in a different environment. A lot of it boils down to timing, where the chick is at emotionally in her life, her age, whether she attached or unattached to someone, etc. As Miles says "a lot of women know they ain't shit and cannot recognize a unique experience standing in front of them" and they be intimidated by masculine men who have their stuff together. Low interest comes from them being intimidated and sends all kinds of mixed signals. There may not be anything wrong w/ them per say, but there's nothing wrong w/ me. It's hard to get a read on some women and it's not b/c they're on autopilot or anything distracting them. It's b/c you are someone that they could never see themselves being with long-term.

What's interesting here is that both of you are right, depending on the type of interest level you're dealing with. Y & D is talking about not using the direct approach with low- or moderate-interest women. Locario is talking about high-interest women. Both of y'all's games are directed at different interest levels. Locario only likes dealing with high-interest women because he's high-value and teaches men to deal with high-interest women to prevent their time from being wasted, to prevent attracting attention whores, and most likely, to prevent sexual harassment charges. Y&D's game is directed at average men and how to raise the interest level of low- and moderate-interest women. These are two different theories and schools of thought; y'all are both right depending on the context. I am very direct with high-interest women, but I cannot use the same approach with low-interest women. It'll turn them off and can also lead to sexual harassment charges! It's the same as dealing with high-interest women; you can't play certain games like waiting hours to respond, etc., or being too cold; it'll turn them off. The same applies to highly insecure women; playing too many mind games will lead them to think you aren't interested in them. The game is very subjective; it's not a strategy you use in every situation. You have to be very flexible and know when to use certain strategies, how to use them, and with which kind of woman and what kind of interest level. The same applies to over-pursuing or being in the friend zone. I know guys who have over-pursued women or been in the friend zone with women but, in the end, made these women fall in love with them. This is really an art, not a science. You master the game when you really understand that it's an art, not a science, and most importantly, when you understand how to not be a robot. That's why it's crucial to know the fundamentals so well, because it enables you to be flexible in complicated situations like interest levels, the age of the women you're dealing with, manipulative women, insecure women, structured women, etc. Understanding the fundamentals enables you to master the art of the game and makes you an artist in these situations.
