These Kenyan therapists talk not as therapists but as Kenyan parents. She was using very strong words and her facial expressions... Nooo. A therapist asks questions, listens and makes you feel calm and comfortable in your skin. But this one... I'm not on the hot seat but I felt like I wouldn't dare open up to her because I sensed some criticism in her voice and attitude.

Honestly, your resident therapist is not the best there is out there. She lacks empathy, sympathy, understanding and is judgemental. She was listening to criticize. She did a very poor job of putting herself in these young women's shoes and where she is supposed to lessen the pain that comes from such youthful trauma, she only served to exacerbate it by pointing out their mistakes to them as if they do not already know that they made such mistakes. Honestly, I don't feel like she is the best fit for people who have suffered any kind of emotional and mental pain.

In the age and era where 12 year olds are having sex... you can't just stand there and say that biblically. ..yes it's sin... but the generations have changed. Allow me to talk reality. Our mothers were married in campus. Some of them gave birth to us in campus. Our fathers were committed. The moment they made them their girlfriend the psycholohically prepared. The world we are living in today is not the same. A girl or woman naturally craves love. The girls have been raised with the wife virtues. But the boys have not been raised with husband virtues. For as long as this continues things wont get better. Because even as a working class i have realised the only way yo make a man settle down is get a baby...

Being raised well should make one know when to hold people accountable when situations like this happen. The girl child has been conditioned to self blame. I’m glad that all around the world, they’re now in the limelight and being empowered. And of course we won’t leave the boy child behind. They’ll be equally held accountable for their responsibility especially in such situations. Girl child, boy child, we gonna walk together side by side, equal and respecting of one another’s role in our society! Tamima is great! She is indeed another great therapist!

I was ones in a situation like that and to say the truth a man literally locks in his brain because of how difficult you are making things to be. I wish you could first of all appreciate the girls for being strong and positive and for sharing their story. Girls don't take that woman seriously, God will give you another chance and make up. we all make mistakes but I dont like the way the society blame the girl and leave the boys to walk out free. I wish to ask the therapist what she would do if her daughter get pregnant in first year at campus? Im a lecturer and and normally empower my gals, what we have agreed we shall never let the boys get out of it, these kids would like to know their fathers, my girls be strong and fight on. Someone take back this 'Therapist's' licence. Campus is not your normal school so telling Rita and other college students not date doesn't quite make sense. On Alice, parents being against the relationship is not really a red flag. Some of our parents eloped and they're still together. It seems the guy simply neither wanted the child nor her. About Shila's situation, I wonder what the she (Therapist) doesn't understand. From what I gather Shila is quite mature and all she wanted & still wants is the same level of maturity from the guy. Too bad the guy is the direct opposite.

Whoever is saying the therapist is not professional you are sick in your head. She is saying the truth and most of us don't want to hear the truth.

Those seats are too far apart from each other they're literally shouting at each other, it's supposed to be a conversation.
