When in campus, I worked in a hotel and made sure I eat there before going home. The salary paid my rent and the small shopping i needed. I used to skip lunch to save a little and would stay with one hairstyle even two months or more. Finished campus, got a job, got married and I thank God that now am living a better life. Waaaa! This video has made me see myself as abnormal. I am the same age as these girls, I am 21 but I have a different view of life. Sex is for marriage, I am keeping for myself for my husband. I have felt the pressure on IG until I quit social media coz all my friends had this lavish lives but I went back to laugh at them once I learnt what they were doing for the holidays. Nimeparara na matuta kwa kichwa na sijawai skia pressure ya kutafuta a man anipee pesa. Lemmie just struggle najuwa one day ntaishi the life i deserve

11:08 just wanted to point out that people can have money and not be "stable." stability is indeed crucial to life, but be specific what kind of stability you're referring to. financial stability is not worth you putting your health stability at great risk for harm. mental stability and ability to *utilize critical thinking skills* to both enjoy life and solve life problems is the best kind of stability to have...as it begets all others... 1) You'll be creative; finding ways and/or seeing opportunities to make money. 2) You'll be more health conscious about what you put in your body. 3) With the money you do have, you'll utilize it wisely and find ways to multiply it not deplete it. 4) You'll have better relationships because you take time to understand yourself, which gives you a basis for understanding another and from this, you can love them correctly. financial stability is a *facet* of life. i think we all tend to blow it out of proportion. this skewed perception of finances being the end all, be all makes life harder than it really is. that mindset that money is the end all be all is the antithesis for stability. it knocks other aspects of life out of balance. Mind you, these other aspects are just as important, if not more. Being a well rounded person is my goal, and for that, my priorities have to be in check. It takes work, but money is not allowed take over my life or mind like that. I totally understand where they're coming from though. being at that age, money feels like the one facet of life that is lacking. BUT try not to blow it's importance out of proportion so much that it risks your health. practice gratefulness instead. ie shift your focus to being grateful for what is not lacking in your life.

No much in the corruption chaos of kenya with its POVERTY..
@janetmunyirich94296 жыл бұрын
@@michaelheery7427 someone once abbreviated "POOR" for me: Passing Over Opportunity Repeatedly there's opportunities in Kenya. It's about having mental clarity and FOCUS, knowing what you want and cultivating a level of awareness and you'll start noticing opportunities. opportunity is everywhere and Kenya is no exception. as for corruption, it's a matter of guarding one's heart. because everything in this life flows from there, including my ability to spot opportunities. the wisdom in Ecclesiastes 7:7 has a lesson on this. "the practice of extortion turns a wise person into a fool, and a bribe destroys the mind. (corrupts the heart)" it does take self control, but i try not to make it a habit to participate in activities that jeopardize my mind or heart. why? because I highly value the health and well-being of my mind and heart. "poverty in kenya, corruption in kenya" do not let those thoughts make you hopeless. Be the best you, and trust me, it makes a difference.

@Patty_patricia. Hang on to your dreams and don't give up on your dignity and integrity. I was a housegirl at 19 after being chased away by the aunt I was living with. I knew what I wanted and I knew how far I could go and how far I couldn't go in order to achieve those dreams. I kept the hope, trusted in God and kept pushing. I eventually got to campus when I was 23 years when my highschool classmates were graduating from campus and getting jobs and even starting their families. I believe am in my own timeline and am not competing with anybody. Am now 26 and in my final year in Daystar University almost finishing my degree in communications. My dreams are still alive and I hope to achieve them. I have never had to bribe anybody or sleep with anybody to get money to get me through. God is good. He is watching you and your glorious time is coming. Just keep on keeping on. All the best in all your endeavours and be Blessed❤

Am now turning 25 years old, I joined gulf country (Qatar) when i was 23 as a cleaner and now am supervisors in the same company. No mum no dad no any relative and we are here struggling, ladies that's very stupidity and very shameful depending on older men.

I did not like the Michelle Obama example. Clearly not proving his point of ''Maturity''. Why is a woman only seen as support for a man. Michelle Obama gave up this and became that. Marriage is not a lifetime achievement. Why do I as a woman must give up things to be defined a ''good'' woman. That is so sexist. Stop using such examples that indirectly say that a woman is only for marriage.

@k chebet it is a natural thing for a man and woman to find happiness in marriage and even more for a woman to have babies.

i thought you totally took it out of context.. what he meant was.. the girls should date people in their age bracket and build together (like michelle obama) hold each other down..

I am yet to hear or read a meme that encourages men to support his woman. And help her achieve her goals. I hate the fact that I am asked to always support and give up stuff that I don't want/feel/intend to. Anyway.

The problem is people have grown to be very superficial. Only care about how they look, what they have, where they live, what they drive etc and get caught up in problems which they try to make them seem like they're normal. You trying to bag a sugar daddy or someone who is very established just so you can enjoy a lavish lifestyle and later on getting killed or acquiring an STD is not normal. You having an older man who has so much money and drives a range but you will endure his cheating behaviour because he gives you money... is not normal. This little girl is 19 but has her priorities all wrong. Instead of focusing on graduating, getting a job and establishing herself she's thinking about dating older men and getting instant money. That is not the time for that. You want an STD so bad? Lord have mercy! And little girl, age and maturity are mutually exclusive. I have met older guys that were very immature and younger guys that were very mature...and vise versa. It all boils down to the person's character and attitude. If they know their purpose in life; have a sense of direction in life. Having money is not maturity. Being older is not maturity. So please avoid generalising a group of people. Dating one immature person doesn't mean everybody else is immature. You have to learn to know what maturity looks like in a person. That way you will avoid making the same mistake. Also stop with the instant gratification mentality. You want things very fast you're not ready to work for it. If you're so concerned about having great hair kindly get a job and buy your own stuff. Stop going after older or wrinkled men who are capable of giving you diseases other than money. But ofcourse you don't want to be seen waiting tables or selling mangoes because it will compromise your popularity or that it's too much work. Guys these established men and women worked hard too to be where they are. So how about you do the same. Have some dignity and work hard for your own things. You want your kids to go to banda school(not that it makes a big difference), then get your priorities straight, work smart, earn and save up. It's that straightforward. Stay focused. Keep your eyes on the real prize. For the people that you look up to on social media, those guys have their own private lives and you never know what they have to go through everyday. Like Burale said most are broke ass people trying to keep up a fake show. Some are depressed. Some are abused at home. Some are going through things and putting pictures or content makes them feel happy. Posting great pictures comforts them. Don't ever wish to have someone else's life. Just be yourself and focus on building your life the right way. Social media is a double edged sword don't be too engrossed in it. Protect yourself. Over and out x

You should have Nancie on the show and this other guys to talk about their journey to where they are and how they got there I remember been this age and even younger and guys 7 to 10 years, sometimes 15 older approaching me and when i was 23 I realized this men are actually really cheap guys, I thank God I overcame that phase Ladies you dont need to do all this and to be honest i think guys all have a child in them that they show when they are comfortable with you, if they dont show it its because they know you are a child

Even Andrew Kibe said he goes for the young ones, because you buy her a couple of guaranas, getting her is a sure thing. The older ones you have to impress with life goals. 2k is kidogo maintenance per week per current standards. Work hard for what you desire. He who pays the Piper, calls the tune. The sponsor calls the tune. Just saying
