We need to walk out that righteousness. Sanctification. As we read His Word and stay close to the Lord Jesus we are going to reflect Him. We will change. We walk toward Holiness.

Religions that take verses that encourage good works such as James 2:14-17 are so often support works, not reconciliation. If you read them without considering the hundred that speak of our spirit being renewed, you just hope for salvation at the end. I had lunch with a friend who said just that. I’m staying humble, keeping my mind on him and I hope I’m reconciled (good enough) on the day I die! I was shocked to hear her Christian philosophy! My heart ached for her. She’s totally happy with this and feels like she’s hitting the mark!

John 14:19 -21. Can you discuss the keeping of my commandments as not/or as a condition of me in fact loving God. Which commandments is this referencing? New covenant? Fruits? The crux of the question lies within “what are the total conditions for salvation “? Thank you 🙏 ✝️
