Sometimes they can come in handy. It often depends on how much space is between the houses. One of my neighbors is over a full acre away from me, and sometimes has doings with their family (all adult children) that sometimes has loud music playing, another has some dogs that very often bark quite a bit (that he yells at all the time) and some down the street that have chickens, and another I seldom see (who is related to the ones with the chickens), but we all seem to get along. We are near both railroad tracks with trains going by at all hours and a major highway intersection. with a lot of truck and car traffic, but none of us complain about noise. The dogs barking actually make me feel secure because they are guarding their "territory", and much of my life was spent around people with chickens that it's something I grew up with. I have also lived in apartments, and sometimes there would be some noise, but it was never a big issue with any neighbors other than a request to keep it down a bit.

I think JM handled this dismissal tastefully. It was clear this old lady would probably be the type to be personally offended and argumentative had JM angrily told her that her case was stupid. Lady's probably lonely and just wants people to listen to her.

This will sound harsh.. this is why senior housing exists. Several years ago my mom moved into one & she's very happy. On the other hand, I have a senior couple who lives downstairs & I help them with Amazon packages, bring them groceries when the weather is bad & they are very sweet. That lady needs a hobby, or to volunteer somewhere...

The Plaintiff had been watching too many cartoons if she expects the judge to believe that '''''nose on the other side of an apartment wall'''' can break things in her house.

She needs to be in a seniors home. Then she will regret talking about her neighbor like that. She's just a miserable, rude old lady. Just like my mother. If she can find something to complain about she will. Ten times over. And then again every time she can to every single person she comes into contact with. It's very tiresome to even talk to her. She seems to enjoy living miserable. But she is my mom so I am forced to listen to the same stories for 50 freaking years.

I don't think anyone else is going to read this message but I'm going to keep it here and it will cross my mind again. There's a way for you to be able to get that covered under a medical health care Reform Actni ... okay I see smoke coming out I better stop thinking🤣 Have a great day in Justice thank you for your message

Had a rude downstairs neighbor that would complain to the condo association if we were just breathing. She would go everyday complaining about how dog peeing in her vents, which there was no access to and our dog would have to have good aim to pee in the vent in the ceilings. She would also harass on several occasions including one time when I got back home from the hospital at 9 months pregnant at 3am. We were extremely tired and she berated us as we walked up the stairs to our condo.

Between both of their stories lies the truth. I do believe he is noisy and not being as neighborly as he should, but the damage is hard to believe. Having said that, its a co-op. I was in property management for 15 years and lived in several apartment buildings. There is SO much noise that you just have to swallow and deal with because you chose that. I hope that he takes this seriously and watches the noise level as much as he can.

I'm a bit surprised by some of the comments here. As someone who has dealt with extremely loud and obnoxious neighbors in the past, who would constantly slam things and stomp around above me all hours of the day and night, I understand where she is coming from. Until you've been in that situation it's hard to understand but trying to enjoy peace and quiet and having loud noise constantly, day in and day out, can be very stressful and take a toll on you. Luckily, I was able move out and where I live now is very peaceful and quiet, but she may not have that option financially at her age.
