Hi Juliette, this is a great video. Thank you for sharing. It’s great to hear someone giving practical and relatable advice based on facts not fads. I would love a Q&A with Matt. I have just turned 50 & this age group appears to be the latest cash cow when it comes to people trying to sell the latest diet or fitness package - everything says we can’t lose weight the traditional way & we must sign up to these miracle regimes. I’d be interested to know Matt’s thoughts on whether there is science behind those statements or does the calories in vs out theory work at any stage of life. 😊 thank you again. I love all your content. ❤

I used to watch your videos for your hauls and fashion content as I was also “mid-size”. Then I kind of stepped away from KZbin content for a while. Then I saw some of your more recent content and it’s so funny that we have had such a parallel journey. I 100% relate to so much of what you said (I’ve lost 2 stone through calorie deficit and weight training).You are looking fabulous and your advice is spot on. Would love to see a joint video with Matt too. My question for him would be, I’ve been doing weight training for nearly a year and love it, but is there any issue with maintaining a “comfortable” weight for deadlifts for example? I have been fluctuating between 50 -60kg for a while, alternating reps and sets. Do I need to keep increasing as I feel I’m at the limit my back can take! :)

I have a dessert pudding you can use with your fruit. You mix up a pkt. of flavoured no sugar jelly with a little bit of boiling water to melt/mix it then cool it a bit till it’s just warm now mix it in with Sugar free plain yogurt . I forget the amount of yogurt to use but it makes quite a bit.I’m sure you will work it out. Then put it in the freezer till its sets . You could use half a pkt. And add yoghurt equal to water you would add on directions on back of jelly pkt. It’s so nice and you do different flavours to match your fruit! Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 Juliette. You’re looking fab. x

70cals at at best for that tea. Not 100
@BeingMrsDudley6 ай бұрын
Actually my tea works out at 100 calories because I have it extra milky (pretty much half and half) and 2 sugars my coffee around 120 as I have 3 sugars in that and a tsp of sugar is 20 calories. 👍🏼 everyone’s will be different of course but I’m so grateful of your comment because this is the whole point I’m trying to make. Imagine if you never measured your milk and worked out exactly how many calories were in your tea/ coffee. Imagine you assumed there were 70 calories in you daily cups of tea but actually there were 120! that’s 50 calories unaccounted for and say you then have 4 cups of tea a day. That 200 calories a day and then potentially 1400 calories a week unaccounted for just because of a guesstimate. Knowing what’s in everything you put in to your body is so so important. Xxx

Loved this video , and very informative. Well done you . I am currently in training for the 3 peaks and doing roughly 9-12 mile hikes at weekends with 45 mins during the week days . I have a question for matt . Obv you explained about not being able to lose fat in certain areas ( where it lingers most I’m guessing ) but all I want to do is tone my inner thighs . Do I have to specifically target that area in other ways , ie squats etc 🫣 or will it gradually tone in time ? I can feel and see a difference in my calves and the back of my legs but it doesn’t seem to have done much ( yet ) for my inner legs . I’m not really a fan of the gym but do like swimming . I have endometriosis so my tummy looks different every day , some days huge and others as flat as an ironing board , but hey ho . I seem to be losing weight on my face , neck and arms , which I don’t really want either ☹️ x

That was so informative Juliette and made total sense to me, I'm a size 14 and always have been since I was like 14 however I carry weight well but it's more about how I feel in myself I lost a stone for ivf treatment and was the fittest I'd been gained and lost and gained during pregnancy and after so now working on losing again but finding the exercise harder now with being a mum now but doing better with hitting 10k steps and I fast as don't have breakfast and also stop eating around 7.30pm my downfall is chocolate tho all in moderation 🤣 I'm soo looking forward to the step videos as I feel I'd love it sounds exciting about what's coming 🤩 your a total inspiration and look amazing and I hope you feel mentally amazing too now 😍 I so wish we lived close as I honestly feel like we would be good friends loved watching you from day 1 ❤

This is so interesting to watch! I've recently lost 2 stone if took me a year as I wanted to do it slowly, then I took a 4/5 month break and back on the horse. Since January 8th I've only lost 3lbs and really struggling on such low calories. 1500 calories and 7k steps and 2-3 weight sessions a week and absolutely exhausted from the whole thing. Sick of weighing everything 😂 feel like a secret eater as I don't want my kids to see me weighing my food, I just want them to eat intuitively you know? I was never able to do that and I'd love them to be able to eat without labelling foods as good/bad/junk etc. sending lots of love from Dublin Ireland ❤

You’ve done amazing and lost weight the sensible way without cutting anything out, it’s just everything in moderation. It’s taken me years to learn this but finally got there after losing 5st and kept it off for 3 years. I do still use nutracheck and maybe people will say it’s wrong but weigh myself everyday and it works for me and now love exercise which I do everyday before breakfast A question for Matt how do I set my maintenance calories? As whilst I’ve maintained my weight loss it does go up and down and according to the app I use it’s 1200 calories which my daughter says is way too low. If I eat more than 1200 I will gain weight and have to cut them again
