My Great Grandmother was Georgian, so I click when I see a Georgian name because I want to learn more about the people & culture. I'm sure glad I did in this case. What an amazing musician. Serious improvisation with taste, & a fresh arrangement that builds beautifully.

Go visit Tbilisi, one of the most breathtaking cities in the world, with warmest and most hospitable people. And everyone speaks English.

@@JosephAraza Thanks It's still in my plans... My Dad visited in the 1970's as part of his job as a Yugoslav journalist. He told me that everyone assumed he was Georgian from his facial features .

Ahmad Jamal didn't write this song, he recorded an album calleld Poinciana in 1958. The composer was Nat Simon. The Four Freshmen, among many others, recorded it in 1956.
