We use garmin rhino 750, it’s a gps+radio. You can see each other on the map, plus talk. They go pretty far, depending on contour but Ive talked to people 5 miles away clearly

@@kevinstone2700 Oh OK I used to have those and we had some issues with our particular unit so I got rid of them while moose hunting in Canada but I like the Garmin units dollar ones I have work really well maybe I’ll try them out again thank you and good job this season

@@kevinstone2700 no, we set up camp week before hunting season opened , we went in day before opening day and found that our tent and everything had been burnt to the ground along with 3 other camps. 4 teenagers that did it were caught but we don’t believe we will ever get anything for our loss. Now we don’t know if we’re going to be able to get it back together, we’re all retired and the cost of things now would take us awhile to do .
