Because this is the vented dryer then it doesn't need a water tank to store the water. If it is the condenser model then it is at the top left the water resevoir

I've the 8Kg nodel of this dryer and I find it really good. HOwever, I would prefer if the door hinge was on the left side so that the handle would be on the right -- is it possible to change it over??

It isn't normally possible by a customer, i haven't actually tried it myself Beko will normally say it needs to be changed by a Beko engineeer. If it allows you to do it then it shouldn't be too difficult.

The height to the underside of my worktop is 84.5. Is the height of the tumble drier adjustable to take it lower than 85.

The front feet will be slightly adjustable but it will only be by a small amount

This is a venting model, so will only have the vent pipe for the moisture to go out from. It will be on condenser models where you have the water tank.

I've a beko dtgv8000w, same model only 8kg capacity, it never fully dries the clothes no matter what setting you use, even extra dry. Its complete junk and can't be relied upon. I'm getting rid and going to try find a purely timed drier, theu seem to be very rare now.

Thats a shame to hear, but you are correct that there are not many timed dryers out there as normally the Sensor technology is pretty good. Out of interest, is the dryer in a cold atmosphere like a garage?

@@lords-electrical No its in the house proper, the drier has to be put on twice to dry the clothes, its not overfilled, the clothes have come from a 1400 spin washing machine, the sensor is clean, the vent pipe is clean and clear to outside, the filter is clean as can be. Yet the drier always stops with slightly damp clothes.

@@jasonstynes348 I started to use the towel dry setting for everything, to be fair to the beko, it now dries good. I dont know if it needs to be 'run in' or what because a lot off people seemed to have very poor first impressions. Try towel dry setting before you return it.
