Happy birthday! That's a rare vacuum. I noticed that the brushroll bristle pattern sweeps to the wrong side. Not to the suction side. That's a weird design.

To get rid of the sticky residue from the tape use rubbing alcohol spray make sure its 99% prof it will clean and dry quickly
