Trash Find! Vax Air Lift Steerable Pet Max - What major Vax thing is wrong with it?

I spied with my little eye something awful left for the rubbish the other day, so bought it home and here we are at todays video, a Vax Air, of a lifting variety! Let's work out why it was thrown away, what thing has happened that needs replacing but won't get replaced and see what life we can breathe into it!

I've got exactly the same vacuum and had it for nearly 4 Years love it. But today emptied it and found a hole 😢 in it's plastic dirt bin so will replace the dirt bin with one on eBay. Id rather repair and replace a part at all times if possible. I was brought up to mend and make do if possible.

People throw away things for the slightest thing nowadays - they'd rather replace than repair! Thank heavens for people like you Sam

I just found the exact same vac today & the handle part lifts out to connect the hose too ;)

That dust container is very similar to the Dirt Devil i recently deep cleaned. Tore the whole ting down and washed anything plastic with soap and water. Works flawless again!

They are quite good with keeping it spinning, even when the hair gets between the brushroll ends and bearings and melts everything 🤣 Before you know it it's too late and the main housing has warped/melted

I keep finding lots of them cheapy little like pull along hoovers, I only go for the dysons and sharks though as I know I’ll actually be able to sell them

Your best bet is hoping one is being broken for spares on ebay. Type the model number in and see. I'm about to write off a Hoover that needs a brushroll motor that I cannot find 😢
