One thing that's often left out of the Benfica curse story is the fact that Guttmann would come back to Benfica after the curse as well, but fail to replicate the previous success. Just a random fun fact, I wondered who the man in white was in minute 6:16. Then I realized it was Giovanni Trapattoni (one of the most accomplished managers in football), when he was a player. Oddly enough, he would coach Benfica as well. Brilliant video, as always ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Good friend,the deceased Hungarian legendary manager Bela Guttmann sir was born on 27-1-1899,not 1889 and he was an absolutely powerful manager,not just through his curse,but his bravery to manage numerous number of clubs through Europe and South America by moving away boldly from the war!!!My full respect and Rest In Peace to this extremely so fantastic human being and man,good friend!!!🙏🏻
