Belarusian reacts to "Geography Now! Spain"

The spider in the Guggenheim has a deep meaning. The author was an old woman who made that sculpture when she was 90 years old and it represents her mother. The author's mother was a seamstress or knitted something like that, like the spider does, and when the author was little they gave them an English teacher who ended up having an affair with the author's father. The mother protected her children so that they did not know anything and thus did not suffer, as the spider does with its eggs and its small babies by wrapping them in a web over its body. That's why the Guggemheim spider has a spider web bag with its babies inside.

Basque for me personally is the most interesting, more than the whistling. The fact that is so old, unconected with anything else, isolate, with such a strange grammar, but yet so straight forward. It's beautiful. Isn´t Georgian also a language isolate in Europe?

I didn't hear that much Basque when I was there, but I agree that it is a very interesting language. I mean, the closest language to it is Spanish with just 20% similarity, which is so far! Georgian is not exactly a language isolate, it has relatives inside the Kartvelian group of languages. But the group itself doesn't have relatives, so you may call it a language family isolate.

@@SeagulltheExplorer did you paid for minting your diploma? You have to pay a fee to get the diploma. You hace to actively ask for your diploma and pay for It, is not an automatic process.

@@carlosesteve1986 I didn't pay anything, and I was not supposed to. At least, nobody asked me to pay for anyyhing. It is the first time I am hearing that. Is it something that students in Spain do to get their diploma?

@@SeagulltheExplorer yes, even high schoolers (i payed near 49€ for my FP diploma). Education is free but official documents must be payed, you are paying to the state to they make an official document like you have X title in Y university. Is like the DNI or the driving license you have to pay administrative fees.

Write an email to your old university explaining you forgot to play your fees and ask for instruccions, remenber to tell you are living outside the EU, the internacional mailing of a document like that could be problematic. If that dont work contact your student Union.
