John Chamber grew up in a proud loyalist family in Belfast. He was born in the area around the Shankill which turned into a frontline during The Troubles. Although "his heart and soul were forged" in Belfast, he became a member of the growing diaspora that saw no future in the troubled city. All those years he carried a big secret. For Nieuwsuur John took us back to the Belfast from then and now.
