All speculation. The real truth is out there but no one wants to know. Its hate crimes against the church. A jailing offense. It was war time, little medication, physically and mentally challenged babies, measles, mumps etc ran through the home. It's also a famine Graveyard. The nuns had a beautiful Graveyard which they tended to with love. They were dictated to by government and county council. The nuns noted everything meticulously. The parents of the girls told the nuns that the baby was not coming home. They didn't care what happened to the child, they abandoned their own flesh and blood. The men of Ireland took up arms and fought for freedom but they wouldn't fight for their daughter and baby. Don't talk bull about been afraid of the church. The young girls were traumatised from been raped and abused by the very men who should be protecting them, then they put them out on the road, only for the nuns these girls would die giving birth on the side of the road. There was no shortage of food in the home, the local people will tell you that. The nuns slept on the top floor of the building where there was no heating or running water etc. Long after the nuns were gone, the council decided to build a housing estate there, babies remains and parts of the little white coffins ended up in a land fill. The remains were scattered, the original Graveyard possibly removed. Local priest blessed some remains and placed them in an ossary. Mass had always been said at that consecrated ground long before the local historian found the site, the local residents kept the site in immaculate condition, prayers were always recited there and the local children were taught by their parents to respect the area. It has now been violated by certain people placing unnecessary items there, Teddy bears are now rotting there, paper clippings attached to the walls. It's sad to see consecrated ground violated in such a manner. For a thorough job to be done, the top soil must be recovered and examined, all the houses need to be knocked as there were little bones in the gardens when the tenants took possession of the houses. What ever remains are there are intermingled with time and any excavation that has been done on the site since this horror story broke. Are any DNA experts in the world that can guarantee answers or are the millions been spent just going to be wasted money. They famine victims that were dug up, were removed and never returned to their eternal graves, what guarantee have we that there will be DNA matches , what will happen to the remains of babies who have no one left to claim them. Let the dead rest and look after our living children. Are aborted babies buried in a dignified manner
