So when we think of Belfast buses we do automatically think of lots of pink vehicles...and we aren't wrong! In this video I assess the Belfast Metro network by Translink, looking at their vehicles, routes and how the successful Glider (see that video here: • The Glider Bus Rapid T... ) is integrated in a good fashion.

That Dennis trident at 2:04 is ex stagecoach London V204 MEV it was as soon as it was withdrawn from service it got bought by Golden tours in London and then 2016 Allen’s tours Belfast bought the vehicle and then the vehicle got sold to city tours belfast

And more central next time you come to Belfast go and get the 215 or 515 or 516 to Downpatrick or 215b I drive for Downpatrick now so I tend to drive the streetdecks in country roads aswell And more central we have now battery eletric and hydrogen buses at the time of you filming this we had 3 hydrogen buses

Around the seatbelts also, it’s a case of certain buses have them and others don’t, most buses with pink bars have seatbelts, some don’t, even the 2017 versas don’t have them

that ALX on the 94 is a more modern one as it had the same dash style as a B9

EEZ reg one new in 2005, doesn’t have the same dash as a B9 but has a more modern dash than the older B7s but does have the same Steering wheel as the B9s and B5s

I think TCZ 9960 has been sent to Hamills in Ahoghill for scrap, unsure

Fun fact bus TCZ 9960 believe it or not is ex Ulsterbus Newtownabbey as well as TCZ 9961

@@AndMoreCentral I think it was in metro when it was delivered and it was transfered over in 2018 for schoolbus work but it came back to metro in metro 2021 for volvo b9tls getting upgraded to euro 5 i think

I like the buses but I find that 99% of the drivers are rude and don't reply to you when you say hi or thanks. Ruder than London in my opinion.
