Belgorod: We speak to Russians Partisans who say they are fighting for Ukraine

Russia's defence ministry claims it has defeated a group of insurgents who crossed from Ukraine into the Belgorod region of Russia and launched a series of attacks.

The leader of one of the Russian armed groups claimed that a dozen settlements in the area had been "liberated from Putin's regime".
Tonight some residents who were evacuated have been allowed to return home - while Ukraine denied any involvement in the incursion - describing it as an "internal Russian conflict".

Ukraine and NATO failed at Bahkmut after Russian forces advanced directly at them, causing the Ukrainian and foreign soldiers to experience high doses of cowardness. Ukraine tried to get back at Russia by invading a small village in Belgorod which injured civilians Russian national guard which were 40km away and were called in and is now pushing the Ukrainian DRG forces back to the border. Ukrainian loses in Belgorod: ➖3 HMWWV armored vehicles, ➖2 MaxxPRO armored vehicles, ➖2 AMZ Dzik armored vehicles, ➖4 off-road pickup. A day of fighting in the Belgorod region cost the Ukrainian formations over 10 units of military equipment without counting artillery losses and shot down drones with at 60+ dead Ukrainian DRG soldiers. ( Two captured MaxxPRO) Weapons and ammunition also captured. Russian losses: 1 russian civilian shot with his wife Injured in hospital, and 8 other civilians injured. One BMP was taken by the Ukrainians back to ukraine.

This pointless terrorist attack on two tiny hamlets (Zelenskyy lost 70 troops KIA and several US made armored vehicles for nothing and these tiny hamlets are under Russian control right now) is a lame attempt to divert attention from Bakhmut debacle and slaughter of Ukrainian troops. Bakhmut is a slaughter which is entirely Zelenskyy folly as Stalingrad was entirely Hitler's folly . Zelenskyy just for media hype wasted on average 500+ troops daily (total tally is at least 51 000 KIA) in Bakhmut meat grinder even when all escape routes came under Russian fire control and this debacle turned into a sheer slaughter of Ukrainian troops. Zelenskyy did it while having to catch in the streets even disabled (he is officially forced conscripting disabled people) to try to fill the dwindling ranks of Ukrainian army . WSJ is describing Zelenskyy mobilization in this way: "Mr. Zelensky in January introduced even harsher punishment for desertion and disobedience. A disabled person was drafted in western Ukraine and pronounced fit for service despite having no hands. Another died on the front lines within a month of mobilization after 10 days of training, according to his relatives. "

It’s not pointless when attacks like this will force Russia to divert significant numbers of soldiers and equipment away from the war in Ukraine to defend its own borders, right before the upcoming Ukranian offensive. It’s a genius move actually, for Ukranian backed Russian separatists to carry out such raids across Russians vast and poorly defended border, to plant a flag, take some propaganda videos, steal some military hardware then retreat until the next time, with low risk and high returns.
