I was in the second grade in 1987-1988, and one of my neighbors who was my age played Debbie Gibson and Tiffani as well as this song a lot (or it seemed like a lot) when I'd go over to her house to play out in her yard. Neither a mass murderer nor a stoner movie brought me here. What brought me here was hearing this song on the radio after many many years later. I suddenly was hit by a flashback and remembered the song from when I was a kid. I was at a workout place my mom would always go to that would play songs like this, phil collins, etc. I actually liked the vibe, feeling, and sound to it. Which a lot of the older late 80s songs I remember hearing from my very early childhood seem to do for some weird reason. I remember when I was younger there was this cd that my mom always played in the car and it had like 4 songs and this was one of them. I always loved it so much but then the cd broke and I didn't know what it was called, I finally found it. It brings back so many amazing memories. And I haven't seen my mom in like a year so it makes me feel close to her.

It's the best time of early adulthood, clubbing with friends, movies at cinemas, venturing to whatever eateries that was popular, shopping with girly buddies, manicure, hair saloons, beauty saloons, busied dating and holidays at which ever countries or places in this world freely as we wanted. Omg it's soo sad to hear that your friend took her own life sooo young. It's such a tragedy when someone so young dies in any circumstances, and especially because of a suicide. It's basically a baby, and I'm beyond sad for your tragic loss. Depression among kids and teens is burning problem in our society in 21st century. Anyway I hope you're doing better and hope you know your friend is in peace in much better place.

@@babybabe7917 today's generations are depressed and doing things like that for countless reasons, but to me the least acceptable is because they always have every moment of their lives on the internet for the world to see and judge. Regarding this reason, it's the validation they seek but don't gain that leads to things like self-harm and suicide. I do understand that this isn't the sole reason, nor is my explanation the total extent of it, but it is a particularly great one. At least to me. It's depressing to me knowing that the generation in question is my own.
