I'll never ever forget going to the cinema as a 12 year old back in 1987 to see Mannequin with my Father and Uncle. Great memories, rest easy fellas and save me a seat at the bar up there please.

Belinda Carlisle-one of the most underrated performing artists of the 80s. Love, love, love her music!!!
@metalboy5150 Жыл бұрын
People very much overuse the word "underrated." Belinda Carlisle was not remotely underrated. She was one of the most popular solo singer/songwriters of the decade. She sold millions of albums and had multiple top ten hits, including at least one number one song, "Heaven is a Place on Earth " in 1987. Even before that, she was lead singer of The Go-gos, one of the most successful all-female bands of all time. In other words, she is the exact opposite of "underrated." She is very well known, successful, and very highly rated. Please stop using words to mean things other than what they mean. What you actually wanted to say is something along the lines of "I don't hear people nowadays mention her as much as I think they should," or words to that effect. "Underrated" is misused almost as much as "literally," and don't even get me started on that.

@metalboy5150-Thank God we have people like you to point us in the right direction in regards to proper word usage. We'd be lost without your guidance! 😂😜😘
@stevabobic2 ай бұрын
@@metalboy5150I completely agree with you about "understated" and "literally". I'm sick of a bunch of jerks whose vocabulary consists of the above words. When we talk about Belinda Carlisle, you made a few mistakes, because she was never a songwriter by the way, only a few songs as a co-author, and those songs didn't even hit the charts. Heaven is a song that many people know, and also 99 percent of people in this world have no damn idea who sings it! She is very far from very famous, successful and respected. The woman did not win a single award in her career! The number of broken records is beyond ridiculous compared to anyone. Her best-selling album is somewhere around number 2000 on the official list!!! If you have any information that does not match my claims, please direct me to a specific address. Thank you. And although I love her more than all of you who write eulogies about her, I look at things objectively. Greetings.
