I didn't realize I made sere few years. At the time me and my mom and my sister we were bored. Didn't have plaintain to make hudut and I didn't realize it. I had already started making the coconut 🥥 soup. I found frozen cassava just like that at the Mexican meat market and I threw it in there. We added shrimp and salmon it was so good. We didn't know what to call it but now I know we low key made sere. 😍

This sere looks yummy 😋 I'm going to try it one of these days. By the way I must say I enjoy watching your recipes and they really looks similar to my jamaican dishes and I can relate to the Belizean food 🍲

Thank you very much 👍 but what actually got me started was your mama's (Rosalee's) bread pudding and now it's a hit every Sunday evening 🌃

This is one of my favorite dishes and its been a long time since I've had some. I'm definitely excited about trying this recipe. You mentioned salmon.....can you use salmon fillets or does it have to be the whole fish? ( I hate cleaning fish). Lol. Where can I buy your cook book?

Wow that looks delicious. A real West Indian soup with plantains; and yams. I notice you didnt sautee the onions. That gave me a low caloric idea.

Yup...only Joe and I like it. Jada would eat maybe the fish and regular potatoes, but hates the other ground foods. Don't make this one too often.

Nice video, just you know its not YOCA, the word is YUCA, to say it easier, YOUCA. :)
@TheBarePantryShow5 жыл бұрын
Po-tay-to, Po-taw-to In Belize it's called Cassava, so that's how I know it. I'd be hard pressed to remember YOUCA and I'd be lying if I said I would. Thanks though.
