been thinking of something special to do for my cousin quinceanera. Since I am Candy table godmother(since its a thing now) I wanted to do something representing her Belizean side, this is perfect and simple to do.

Thanks for teaching me TheBelizeanborn. I wondered what ingredient caused the cleansing. My American Aunt was the one that told me to warn the folks, because no one warned her. lol

When using a machete to open a coconut you're supposed to use the backside NOT the sharp side or the butt of the machete. 😊

Yeah, but not Joe. He's always a little bit extra.

@@TheBarePantryShow by the way I'm new to your show. It was the Bare Pantry name that attracted me bc I too have had to work with pantry dust to make a meal...or 2. 😁. I'm vegetarian and my fav part about your show is that a lot of your recipes seem to be vegetarian or can easily convert. I'm a foody and I'm ALWAYS on the look out for ethnic vegetarian food! 😊😂😂
@TheBarePantryShow6 жыл бұрын
@@shannaspencer8105 Yes for sure. A lot of our Belizean dishes can be converted to Vegan or Vegetarian. The show is also on the Facebook platform too. I've been re-doing all my videos and placing them there. I do understand about the empty pantry. My kids say they will always know what to do in hard times because they see my make stuff out of nothing.

As always you make it seems to easy. My problem is trying to find a young coconut here in the midwest. FYI, coconut is a natural diuretic and when combine with brown sugar and condense milk is enough to have you running =)

Actually no you don't have to loose your water just have a strainer on a cup ready and crack it lol
