Bell 212 Helicopter Engine Startup and Takeoff

Here is a Bell 212 Twin Huey C-GWWL seen starting up and taking off out of CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia during the 2021 wildfire season. Always an impressive helicopter to see!

Got a similar B412 rescue helo here in Perth, sounds exactly the same, but with a 4 bladed rotor system. Such a distinct sound

Always great videos on HDAviation. There's so much in this video, the morning cool holding the smoke down while the crew get their machine and gear going for the day ahead fighting fire. The second aircrewman dressed in fire fighter clothes and wearing a tether harness, the machine is hoist equipped, makes me wish I could ask them some questions.

Those Huey's are the best, when we were out wildland firefighting we use these Huey's alot to get us to fires and back .
