Very little coverage of Mohawk College in Hamilton eliminating their broadcast journalism program. They announced a couple of days ago that they won't be taking in any new students in the autumn and will only be allowing their current students to complete the program before shutting down. They cited dwindling applicants to the program and bleak job prospects.

ATCO Electric in Alberta laid off many 15 to 25 year employees between 2015 and 2019. Employees went through almost 4 years wondering if they will have a job next week.
